To improve education system National Examination Council of Tanzania updated Exams Format to cope with new social and economic need with the society. The exams format based on new educational approaches to facilitate and developing skills to students which would be useful even after completing primary education.
Each subjects has been prepared basing on the guidelines which has been published by National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA), Therefore, with the use of examination sample candidates belonging to Form Standard Four class level may have been familiarized with examination formats.
About Standard Four National Assessment (SFNA).
The Standard Four National Assessment (SFNA) is a formative evaluation which intends to monitor pupils’ learning. in order to provide feedback that teachers, students and other educational stakeholders can use to improve teaching and learning. The Examination administered to candidates who have completed Four year of Primary education to make an overall assessments of students before moving to the next class level (Standard Five). The examination serve diagnostic role as it identify candidates with strength and weakness before moving to the next class level.
