The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the provision of education in the country by preparing various policies, laws and guidelines from the Primary Education to Higher Education levels. In addition, the Ministry is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development of Science, Technology and Innovation; as well as its application in various fields including Business, Industry, Agriculture and daily life in general.
According to the Authorization Document issued on 22 April 2016, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology carries out the following responsibilities:
Formulating and implementing policies on Education, Science, Research, Library Services, Science, Technology, Innovation and the Development of Vocational Training;
Developing Basic Education by providing Teacher Training Certification and Professional Development for Teachers;
