1: Electrical Technician- Mbeya

Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Technician in Mbeya, to join the Manufacturing team at CCBA. The role will report to the Machine Controller

CCBA is the 8th largest Coca-Cola authorised bottler in the world by revenue, and the largest on the continent. The primary role of the process operator is operation of the process area according to work instructions, the execution of destructive and non-destructive quality checks and carrying out of autonomous maintenance. The process operator has a primary focus on the quality control activities of the team.

Skills, Experience & Education

Degree in Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering

Computer and technical skills

Atleast 3 years of Experience in all aspects of packaging operations and process control in process area

Ability to work in teams

Understanding of application of WCM foundational practices

Troubleshooting skills

Quality control practices and principles

Bottling principles and processes

Product handling knowledge

Computer knowledge

Understanding of SHE policies and procedures

3: Machine Specialist – Mbeya

The primary role of the machine specialist is maintain, repair and optimise plant and associated devices to ensure that plant availability and product quality at minimum cost; without sacrificing standards. The role also entails providing specialised machine skill and knowledge to the shift team, and to support the operations, maintenance and problem solving activities of the shift teams

Qualification & Experience

Degree in (Mechanical / electrical with some instrumentation) as added advantage
5 years’ work experience in engineering (FMCG an added advantage)
Computer literacy essential – Microsoft packages.
Knowledge of SAP.
Packaging machines (within specialist area) and functionality
