New Job Vacancies at Immigration Force December 2025

The Immigration Services Department is established under Section 4(1) of the Immigration Act of 1995 Chapter 54 as amended by Act No.8 of 2015. It gives the Department the authority to control and facilitate immigration issues in the United Republic of Tanzania. The Department is one of the security organs under Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Commissioner General of Immigration, by virtue of the authority vested in me under Regulation No. 11(1) of the Immigration Regulations of 2018, hereby announces the recruitment of New Immigration Constables for Tanzanian Youths with the following qualifications:-

QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANTS

i. Must be a citizen of Tanzania;

ii. Must be unemployed or have never been employed by any Government Institution;

iii. Must have a Birth Certificate;

iv. Must have a National Identity Card or an identification number issued by the National Identification Authority (NIDA);

v. Must be of sound physical and mental health.

vi. Must have never used Drugs;

vii. Must not have any record or information of involvement in criminal or criminal matters or incidents;

viii. Must not have any marks or drawings (Tattoos) on his body;

ix. Must not be married or have been married and have no child;

x. Applicants with Form Four Education must have qualifications from Class One (1) to Class Three (3) and be between 18 and 22 years of age, Applicants with Diploma and Diploma must be between 18 and 25 years of age and Applicants with Degree/Higher Diploma must be between 18 and 30 years of age.

xi. Be willing to attend the initial Military Immigration training.

xii. Be willing to work for the Immigration Department anywhere in Tanzania.

xiii. Be willing to finance all stages of monitoring and conducting the Recruitment exercise

WARNING

(i) All applications will be received in the manner specified in clause 3 above and not otherwise;

(ii) Any applicant found to be submitting forged documents will be subject to legal action including being brought to Court;

(iii) Beware of Scammers who ask for money or any form of bribery while claiming/claiming to help secure employment opportunities.

HOW TO APPLY:

All employment applications will be submitted through the Immigration Department website which is  https://www.immigration.go.tz starting from December 29, 2025 and the deadline for applications is January 11, 2026.

When applying, the applicant is required to upload the following documents in PDF format to the employment system (each document should not exceed 300Kb);
