The Office of the Prime Minister – Labour, Youth, Employment and Persons with Disabilities, in collaboration with Almaha Travel and Tours Company Limited, has announced 1,150 overseas job opportunities in Qatar for qualified Tanzanian workers, Fursa za Ajira 1,150 Qatar 2026. The recruitment drive aims to provide employment to Tanzanians between the ages of 25 and 50 years. Successful applicants will work in Qatar under the well-known transport company MOWASALAT.

Available Positions

The jobs mainly target professional drivers, with placements in Qatar’s transport sector. This opportunity is part of the government’s broader efforts to create employment opportunities abroad and improve livelihoods for Tanzanian citizens.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Hold a valid Driving License Class C or E

Have completed at least Ordinary Level Education (Form IV)

Possess a valid driving license

Have a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience

Have a valid passport

Be able to speak and write English

Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage

Employment Terms and Benefits

The selected candidates will be employed under the following conditions:

Employment will be on a contract basis

Salary will be paid according to Qatar labour laws

Medical expenses during the recruitment process will be covered by the employer

The employer will cover the visa and air ticket costs

Workers will be provided with accommodation and meals during the contract period

Transport from residence to the workplace will be arranged by the employer

A return air ticket will be provided after completion of the contract
