15 Volunteer Vacancies at Morogoro Regional Referral Hospital 2026

Morogoro Regional Referral Hospital, announces vacancies for various cadres for a period of twelve (12) months as follows:

1: MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY (POSITION – 7)

(a) Qualifications for Employment: Holders of a Diploma in the field of Medical Technology from a Government recognized University and who are registered with the relevant council.

DUTIES

Identify, prepare and order the requirements of medicines and medical equipment in his/her area of ​​work.

Distributing medicines and medical supplies to patients and staff

Storing medicines and medical supplies

Educating the community about the proper use of medicines

Preparing reports on the use of medicines and medical supplies

Maintaining records of medicines and medical supplies

Performing other duties assigned by his/her superior related to his/her education, experience and skills

2:  ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER (POSITION 2)

Qualifications for employment: Diploma in Nursing, from a recognized institution by the Government, registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing nursing services

Collecting vital health data.

directs the work of the nurses under him

Educate patients and the community about their health problems

Provide preventive and reproductive services

Perform other tasks assigned by his superior related to his climate, experience and skills

3: DOCTOR II (POSITION 6)

Employment Qualifications: Holders of a Medical Degree from Universities/Colleges recognized by the Government who have completed “Internship” and obtained registration from the Medical Council of Tanganyika.

DUTIES

(i) To perform all medical work in the hospital related to various diseases including pediatric diseases, maternal diseases and routine and emergency surgery.

(ii) To investigate, monitor and prevent disease outbreaks

(iii) To maintain statistics and use them as directed in the principles of MTUHA.

(iv) Participate in, review and improve health services (medical audit and quality improvement)

(v) Perform other duties assigned by his/her superior related to his/her education, experience and skills

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR HEALTH CARE WORK

Applicants are required to have:

i. A professional certificate in the field of study from a university recognized by the government.

ii. Be registered with a professional council

iii. Be licensed in the relevant profession

1V. Be in possession of a Form Four/Six certificate recognized by NECTA v. Be a Tanzanian citizen aged 18 years and not exceeding 35 years

vi. Have two guarantors who are public servants

vii. He/She must not have been convicted by a court of law for a criminal offence.

vii. He/She must not have been employed in any public institution since he/she graduated. vC

 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS

All applicants are required to have the following general qualifications

i. He/She must have full certificates of training in the field he/she studied (Form Four, Six, Vocational and Full Registration certificate) “Full Registration” or a valid license to practice the relevant profession.

ii. Applications must be accompanied by the applicant’s CV

iii. Applications must be accompanied by copies of educational/vocational certificates and birth certificate

iv. Testimonials result slip WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
