1. DOCTOR CLASS II – POSITION 5
Job Responsibilities
Provide medical services for various diseases including children, mothers, as well as routine and emergency surgeries.
Provide and manage health education to the community and participate in improving community health in the workplace.
Investigate, monitor and control disease outbreaks.
Maintain and use health statistics in accordance with MTUHA guidelines.
Plan, implement and evaluate health services in the workplace.
Train students and supervise subordinate staff.
Design and conduct medical surveys and disseminate their results.
Prepare plans and budget estimates for health services.
Participate in the inspection of health services (Medical Audit & Quality Improvement).
Provide outreach services in the relevant district/region.
Applicant Qualifications
Must have graduated with a Medical Degree (MD) from a university recognized by the Government.
Must have completed Internship training.
Must be registered with the Tanganyika Medical Council.
Must have at least one year of work experience.
Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
Must be computer literate.
2. NURSING OFFICER II – POSITION 3
Job Responsibilities
Provide nursing and preventive services to patients and clients in the hospital.
Provide health counseling and education.
Prepare and supervise the implementation of the nursing services work plan.
Participate in research and activities to improve the quality of services (including 5S and IPC).
Applicant Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution and have completed an Internship.
Must be registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
Must be computer literate.
3. ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER II – 10 POSITIONS
Job Duties
Provide nursing services to patients and clients in the hospital.
Provide health education and counseling.
Prepare and manage a nursing service work plan.
Train colleagues and students.
Applicant Qualifications
Must have graduated with a Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
Applicants with Critical Care experience will be given priority.
Must be computer literate.
4. NURSE ANAESTHETIST II – POSITION 2
Job Responsibilities
To provide anesthesia and patient care.
To provide health education and counseling.
To prepare and manage a sleep service work plan.
To train fellow staff and nursing students.
Applicant Qualifications
Must have completed a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Nursing with at least one year of Sleep training from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council.
Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
Must be computer literate.
5. TECHNOLOGY – RADIATION GRADE II (RADIOGRAPHER II) – POSITION 2
Job Responsibilities
To provide radiological examination services according to his/her specialty.
To train students and supervise subordinate staff.
Participate in research to improve diagnostic methods.
Maintain accurate records of tests and their results.
Maintain departmental machinery, equipment and property.
Applicant Qualifications
Must have completed a Diploma in the relevant field.
Must be registered with the relevant Council.
Must be computer literate.
Must be willing to work in accordance with professional ethics and principles.

Applicant Qualifications
Must have completed a Degree/Diploma/Certificate in the relevant field.
Must be registered with the relevant Councils.
Nursing officers must have completed Internship training.
Must be computer literate.
Must be willing to work in accordance with professional ethics.
Be willing to be paid a volunteer allowance as arranged by the hospital.
No work experience is required.
