The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) is a government organ with a status of independent Department established specifically to facilitate the recruitment process of employees to the Public Service.

Public Service Recruitment Secretariat was established by the Public Service Act No. 8 0f 2002 as amended by Act No. 18 of 2007, section 29(1).

The Secretary of the Public Service Employment Secretariat on behalf of MDAs & LGAs nvites applications from qualified and capable Tanzanians to fill the 912 vacancies as specified in this advertisement;

1: MWALIMU DARAJA LA III C – HISABATI (MATHEMATICS): Positions: 709 Positions

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare work plans, lesson plans, lesson notes and Work Plans for other assigned duties;

Develop and maintain teaching and learning tools;

Teach, conduct assessments and maintain records of Student Progress;

Supervise and monitor student attendance in School and Classroom;

Supervise the mental, physical, and spiritual development of students and provide counseling and guidance;

Provide professional advice and expertise on educational development;

Manage and maintain School equipment and assets; and

Other duties as assigned by the Principal in accordance with the responsibilities of the School.

Qualifications

Employment with a Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Education with a teaching subject in Mathematics

OR

Non-Teaching/Education Degree with a teaching subject in Mathematics plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from a Government-recognized Institution of Higher Education.

2: MLEZI WA WATOTO MSAIDIZI (CHILD CARE ASSISTANT): 2 Positions

Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in implementing the ECD integrated plan;

Prepare and implement a daily activity schedule in the relevant center;

Identify and implement a safe learning environment for children;

Refer to children’s issues that are beyond their control;

Identify children with special needs and provide appropriate services;

Participate in community mobilization in providing care, development and early child development services;

Provide advice to parents/guardians on care, development and early child development in their area;

Prepare and provide reports on the implementation of daily activities in the relevant area;

Participate in the process of conducting child consultations at the relevant level (case management);

Prepare reports on the establishment of care, development and early child development centers in the relevant areas;andPerform any other work assigned by their supervisor based on their knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

Employment of Form Four or Form Six graduates who have completed a Diploma in Parenting Education, Early Childhood Development and Growth, Social Welfare, Psychology from a Government-recognized institution.

3: MWALIMU DARAJA LA III C – FIZIKIA (PHYSICS): 201 Positions

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare work plans, lesson plans, lesson notes and Work Plans for other assigned responsibilities;

Develop and maintain teaching and learning tools;

Teach, conduct assessments and maintain records of Student Progress;

Supervise and monitor student attendance in School and Classroom;

Supervise the mental, physical, and spiritual development of students and provide counseling and guidance;

Provide professional advice and expertise on educational development;

Manage and maintain School equipment and assets;

Other tasks as assigned by the Principal according to the responsibilities of the School.

Qualifications

Employment requires a Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Education with a major in Physics or a Non-Teacher/Education degree with a major in Physics plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from a Government-recognized Institution of Higher Education.
