Temeke Municipal Council is one of the five Municipalities of the City of Dar es Salaam that was established on 10th November, 1999 under the Local Government (Urban Authorities) Act, 1982 No. 8 Sections 8 and 9.
The Municipal Director of Temeke Municipal Council invites qualified Tanzanian citizens to apply for employment opportunities within Temeke Municipal Council as outlined below:
1.0 POSITION: DRIVER GRADE II (1 POST)
1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Driving official vehicles as assigned.
2.0 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
An applicant must:
i. Possess a Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV).
ii. Hold a valid Class “G” driving licence for motor vehicles.
iii. Have at least three (3) years of proven driving experience or a minimum of 100,000 kilometres driven without causing an accident.
3.0 SALARY SCALE
Successful candidates will be paid a monthly salary of TZS 370,000.
4.0 GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens and not more than 45 years of age.
ii. Applicants must submit certified copies of academic and professional certificates, endorsed by a recognized Advocate or Commissioner for Oaths.
iii. Applicants are required to submit a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) including reliable contact information and names of at least two referees.
iv. All attached documents must be certified by an Advocate or Commissioner for Oaths and submitted together with a handwritten application letter.
v. The deadline for submission of applications is 4 February 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
