Responsibilities:

Implement and improve current fuel management systems on the North Mara Mine site

Inspect all equipment on the Electronic Fuel Management System

Provide proactive assistance whilst under training on the EFMS system

Complete all training on issuing and inspections of dispensing fuel requisition forms and data collection procedures within the Optimum system

Ensure all data are correctly recorded doing cross-checks mechanical against electronic

Reconcile daily usage on the electronic system and inform deviations to the Automation Fuel System Specialist

Submit Maintenance reports on EFMS system on a daily basis

Record all required data changers in the database on a daily basis

Communicate and ensure compliance of all procedures to fuel systems is maintained daily

Communicate all irregularities and faulty equipment to the Fuel and Lubricant Supervisor

Assist and complete VO States with register to the Metrology standards of Tanzania

Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to ensure equipment availability

Conduct safety checks on all electronic equipment related to the Optimin Lafone System

Complete all training before being allowed to resolve issues on the EFMS system

Qualification Requirements:

Responsibilities:

 

Ensure rigging studies are conducted for all lifting activities on the mine

Ensure adequate controls are in place for safe use and movement of lifting equipment

Monitor, plan and maintain all crane wire ropes, rigging and related equipment

Ensure adequate maintenance, repair and inspection of all lifting gears and ropes in accordance with statutory provisions

Ensure relevant SOP’s are developed and adhered to for all work activities involving continuous lifting and/or lowering

Ensure legal and related registers for all cranes, hoists, scaffolds, ladders, slings, snatch-blocks, lever hoists, ropes and man-cages and all related lifting gears are kept and updated

Inspect and certify all lifting gears in accordance with provisions of OSHAS and MHSA

Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit an HME Maintenance HV Electrician responsible for safe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex high-voltage electrical systems on mobile mining or heavy industrial equipment.

This role requires specialized expertise in HV power distribution, motor control, automation, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on high voltage electrical systems (600V to 1000V) of mobile equipment

Diagnose complex electrical faults using specialized test equipment and schematic diagrams on transformers, switchgear, rectifiers, large motors, VFDs, and control systems

Execute precise and safe HV cable termination, testing, and fault location for trailing cables and on-board power systems

Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to identify potential failures

Strictly adhere to all high voltage safety procedures including LOTOTO, Permit to Work systems, arc flash boundaries, and specified PPE
