57 Vacancies at St. Joseph University (SJUIT) February 2026, St. Joseph University In Tanzania (SJUIT) is a distinguished institution of higher learning, currently operating two vibrant colleges located at Mbezi-Luguruni and Boko Dovya in Dar es Salaam.
The Mbezi-Luguruni campus is home to the St. Joseph College of Engineering and Technology (SJCET), which offers Degree and Ordinary Diploma programmes across various disciplines in Engineering, Technology, as well as Science and Mathematics with Education.
The Boko Dovya campus hosts the St. Joseph University College of Health and Allied Sciences (SJCHAS), which specializes in programmes in the health sciences, including Doctor of Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Nursing and Midwifery.

Required Qualifications
1. Tutorial assistant /Tutor
Holder of Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of not less than 3.5 or B+ grade or above.
2. Assistant Lecturers
Holders of Master’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized University with at least a 4.0 GPA or B+;
Holder of Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First or Upper Second Class) with a GPAof not less than 3.5 or B+ grade or above.
3. Senior Lecturer / Lecturer
PhD in the relevant field or MMed. Degree or equivalent in the relevant subject with a minimum GPA of not less than 4. 0 from a recognized University.
Holders of Master’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized University with at least a 4.0 GPA or B+;
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of not less than 3.5 or a B+ grade or above.
4. Responsibilities of Assistant Lecturers/Lecturers/Senior Lecturers
To teach students of relevant programmes
To conduct research to further knowledge in relevant fields
To offer consultancy and outreach public service.

Teaching, research and consultancy experience of not less than three years on attaining the qualifications of Lecturer.
