Full Funded Scholarship in University of Copenhagen, Denmark 2026/2027

KCMC University is pleased to announce a call for eligible and highly motivated students to apply for a DANIDA-supported scholarship to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Immunology and Inflammation at UCPH. This opportunity is offered under the University Partnership for

Scholarship Coverage

The 2-year scholarship is fully funded and will cover essential costs for the duration of the MSc programme at the University of Copenhagen. It includes:

  • International return flight between the home country and Denmark
  • Health and travel insurance for the study period
  • A monthly living stipend to cover accommodation and basic living expenses

The scholarship will be awarded to three outstanding applicants selected through a competitive process.

About the UPIVAC Project

The UPIVAC project aims to strengthen immunology and vaccinology capacity in Africa through joint education, research, and innovation initiatives from 2026–2032. Each year, the partnership will support six to eight African MSc students to enroll in the MSc in Immunology and Inflammation at UCPH, including a newly introduced Vaccinology module.

Eligible Academic Backgrounds

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant biological or medical sciences, including:

Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and Health Laboratory Sciences.

A minimum GPA of 3.5 is required.

All application materials must be combined into one single PDF document containing:

1. Letter of motivation (1page)

2. Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV), (max 2 pages)

3. Certified copies of certificates and academic transcripts (from Ordinary Level to Bachelor’s degree)

Three (3) letters of recommendation from individuals who can provide credible and relevant professional or academic references. If employed, one of the recommendations must be from the employing institution indicating support for the candidate’s career
development.

Applicants holding foreign degree certificates must attach a Certificate of Verification of Foreign Awards obtained from the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
