12 Vacancies at NMB Bank April 2026, NMB Bank is one of the largest commercial banks in Tanzania, providing banking services to individuals, small to medium sized corporate clients, government services, large businesses and agriculture lending.

NMB Bank was established under the National Microfinance Bank Limited Incorporation Act of 1997, following the break-up of the old National Bank of Commerce, by an Act of Parliament. Three new entities were created at the time, namely: (a) NBC Holdings Limited (b) National Bank of Commerce (1997) Limited and (c) National Microfinance Bank Limited.

1: Audit Manager Data Analytics (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Head Office
Job Purpose:
Responsible for leading the development and execution of data driven audit techniques to enhance the Internal Audit Department’s ability to provide risk focused and technology enabled assurance across the bank.
Knowledge and Skills:

Business understanding of core banking processes, Audit cycle and framework, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management, IA best practices, with knowledge of Internal Audit standards issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Technical

Excellent knowledge of internal audit practice in the Bank

Proficiency in data analytics tools such as ACL, IDEA, SQL, Python, R, or similar.

Strong understanding of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Experience with Core Banking Systems, databases, and other related payment systems.

Behavioral

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.

Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in internal/external audit, data analytics, or related field with leadership experience in leading data analytics initiatives.

Experience in developing and implementing data analytics methodologies within an audit function is highly desirable.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for driving technology for digital channels, providing a roadmap and strategy for self- services channels (Mobile banking), agency banking, and card payment systems.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong digital innovation orientation, EQ, self-drive capabilities and business development.

Good understanding of Digital channels operations, emerging technologies

Knowledge in Agile project management methodology

Knowledge and understanding of the budgeting and costing process

Qualifications and Experience:

3: NOC Infrastructure Administrator (1 Position(s))

Job Purpose:

Proactively monitor, conduct level 1 troubleshooting, and escalate all incidents and problems raised within the Network Operation Center (NOC) to ensure 24/7 operations.

Knowledge and Skills:

Service management standards and baselines in operating systems, network virtual environments, databases, and middleware

Good knowledge of networks, applications, data center infrastructure, self-service channels, power, and cooling utilities monitoring and troubleshooting.

Possess good interpersonal skills.

Must be creative, innovative, aggressive, and a team player.

Ability to work on a shift basis.

Good observation and analytical skills.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Experience with a variety of databases and object-relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks.

Job Purpose:
To develop and maintain clients’ relationships within Corporate Banking while promoting and selling NMBs products and services to ensure that NMBs current and future Corporate Banking customers find solutions for their financial needs.
Knowledge and Skills:

Business understanding of bank’s customer base, market segments, products & services, knowledge of government policies relating to banking, BOT regulations, bank policies & procedures

A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Relationship Management of Large Corporates/Emerging Corporates/SMEs/Branch Management or Business Centre management.

Experience in credit assessment and management.

5: Senior Credit Administration Officer (3 Position(s))

Job Purpose:

Support credit administration by preparing loan documentation, monitoring the credit portfolio, and performing secretariat duties.
Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing, compliance with internal policies and regulations, helping to mitigate credit risk through follow-up and reporting and contributing to the efficiency and integrity of the Bank’s credit operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Law or related fields.

Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage

At least 3 years’ experience in Credit administration, Loan documentation, Portfolio management and Risk Management in banking or financial services.

6: Senior Software Developer (3 Position(s))
