1: Human Resources Assistant, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING

Minimum Requirements

  • University degree in Human resources management, Business Administration or any other related field
  • Four years of relevant experience in administrative and/or human resources support work, with at least two years in HR management.
  • Working knowledge (proficient – level C) of English and Swahili.
  • National of the United Republic of Tanzania or resident of the country with a valid work permit.

Technical/Functional Skills

  • Very good knowledge of ERP corporate computerized administrative systems.
  • Good knowledge of the communication and documentation standards.

2: Monitoring Assistant – Helpdesk Support, Kazulu, Tanzania

General responsibilities::

  • Support the empowerment of communities through the provision of accessible and timely information and participation in decision making processes.
  • Help ensure efficient and effective coordination of AAP by collecting and circulating within WFP and the humanitarian architecture information the urgent needs and priorities of affected populations.
  • Possess or be willing to acquire professional-grade call handling skills, displaying sensitivity, neutrality, and patience, and adherence to confidentiality and data protection principles.

Education: The assignment requires the service of a reputable Consultant with the following qualifications and experience.

4: Resident Advisor in Financial Sector Regulation and Supervision (AFRITAC East, AFE) (MCMTA), Tanzania

Qualifications

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate creativity and initiative and have:

  • At least seven (7) years of experience working in a financial sector supervisory agency, in-depth understanding of international standards for banking regulation and supervision and experience of their implementation at national and/or international level.
  • Expertise of technical assistance delivery in this field is an advantage.
  • A degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a related area.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior policymakers in the region and the donor community, to lead teams of senior experts, to work as part of a team that would include staff at IMF headquarters as well as in AFE, and to handle sensitive issues with discretion in a multicultural environment.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including presentational skills in support of training-related activities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills in balancing demands from member countries with duties and responsibilities from MCM and AFE.
