JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Excellent College of Health and Allied Science is inviting applications from qualified and competent individuals to fill the position of Tutor in the following fields: Clinical Medicine, Medical Laboratory, Diagnostic Radiography, Clinical Dentistry, Clinical Nutrition, Optometry, and Physiotherapy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate clearly, correctly, and effectively with the college community.
Prepare and provide teaching notes to students according to the assigned tutorial position.
Provide tests, assignments, practical sessions, and training to students where necessary.
Collaborate with other staff and students during organizational events and when addressing institutional matters.
Maintain discipline among academic staff (tutors), non-academic staff, and students, ensuring adherence to the college’s values of faithfulness and hard work.
Participate in faculty and other supportive staff meetings within the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Clinical Medicine Courses department.
Act as an examination officer for the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Clinical Medicine Courses department.
Plan student schedules effectively and manage student attendance.
Provide academic, career, and personal guidance and counseling to prospective, new, and continuing students.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory, Medicine, Diagnostic Radiography, Clinical Dentistry, Clinical Nutrition, Optometry, Physiotherapy, or other related fields.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Medical Schools or Health Training Institutions. Experienced candidates will be given preference.
Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing and pleasant personality, and a positive service attitude.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
Ability to work under pressure and handle stress in a demanding environment.
Highly organized, strategic, result-oriented, flexible, and visionary mindset.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to assess information, draw conclusions, and communicate findings effectively.
