Vacancies at Tosamaganga Hospital March 2026, Tosamaganga Hospital (Ipamba) is a Faith Based Organization (FBO) and Non-profit organization owned by the Roman catholic Diocese of Iringa.

The Diocese of Iringa in collaboration with Mani Tese youth group of Torino-Italy started to construct the hospital in 02/10/1968.The Hospital was officially opened by The First President and Father of the Nation, His Excellency, the late,Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere on 17thFebruary, 1970.

Tosamaganga Hospital registered by Ministry of Health and Social Welfare as Private Health Facility (Non Profit) in September 1997 with registration number 111001.Since July 2007,Diocese of Iringa entered in an agreement with the Government to run hospital services in partnership and the hospital to provide all medical services as a Council Designated Hospital for Iringa District Council and the agreement ends in 1st july,2021and the hospital gets the ststus of being a Volutary Agency Hospital (VAH)

Project: MACORESI – Informed, Responsible and Safe Maternity, as a Deterrent for Obstetric Fistula AID 013182/01/0

Objectives & Expected Results

OBJECTIVES

Ensure effective, timely and qualitative implementation of project activities, in line with the project’s expected results and in compliance with donor regulations

Monitor and report on the initiative on a regularly basis to the Supervisor, ensuring timely updates on progress, challenges and achievements
Strengthen coordination among project partners, district authorities and stakeholders through the organization of coordination meetings to share best practices

EXPECTED RESULTS

Project activities are organized and implemented according to the approved work plan, timelines, and budget and in line with donor’s guidelines, ensuring full coherence with the project’s objectives and expected results.

The monitoring of activity implementation is conducted monthly, with reports presented and shared with the Project Manager, enabling the assessment of efficiency and effectiveness and the adoption of corrective actions if needed

Improved collaboration among project partners, district government authorities and stakeholders, through quarterly coordination meetings to share best practices

Specific Tasks and Activities

WITH REGARD TO THE SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES OF THE PROJECT

Prepare and implement monthly and quarterly work plans to ensure hospital project activities are carried out effectively, in accordance with the Official Project Document and budget.

Prepare monitoring reports for the Project Manager, analyzing progress, challenges, and providing recommendations to improve project implementation

Organize and coordinate quarterly meetings with the project partner, district authorities and stakeholders

Maintain clear and timely communication between the project team, partners, authorities, and other stakeholders

Support data collection to track project performance and results, ensuring continuous monitoring of progress toward objectives and beneficiaries reached.

Ensure the collaboration with project partners for the implementation of shared project activities

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Political Science, Economics, Management or related fields

Experience:

At least 3 relevant experience in health program coordination, preferably with a national or international organization, or in institutional or public health settings;

Experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-sectoral collaboration

Technical Skills:

Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills

Knowledge of health systems, public health policies, and national and international health guidelines and programmes

Proven ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders

Languages

Proven proficiency in oral/written English and Swahili

Hierarchical Relations within CUAMM organogram

First Supervisor: Direct General

Second Supervisor: Director of Finance and Planning
