Positions:

1: Workplace Experience Manager

We are looking for a Workplace Experience Manager Based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

About the role

As a Workplace Experience Manager you will have passion to help and guide people and see solving office related issues as a challenge. Often being the first person our partners or our own employees meet when coming to the office. The one who would greet, guide and make people feel welcome. Meaning how important your role actually is to shape the face and prejudice of Bolt.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Take care of all our offices in Tanzania, making sure our offices are a pleasant, welcoming and a conducive place to work at.
Meet and greet our guests visiting our office and direct them accordingly as well as notify staff of their arrival as well as supporting employees onboarding and offboarding.
Facilities management – Communicate with the landlord, cleaners, Internet providers, security company and solve office space related problems.
Help with Office related admin tasks. Collect and organise packages, mail, invoices, receipts and forward those to correct stakeholders (including opening, scanning, archiving the sensitive documents).
Order office supplies and refreshments and help organise events and celebrations for the team.
Assist our Regional Workplace Experience Manager, Real Estate team and other local teams.

About you:

Care about people and be passionate about helping others.
Have experience in an administrative role, events and some property knowledge preferably in a fast scaling business or industry.
Have a very good attention to detail while being able to multitask, prioritise, be proactive and focus.
Be passionate about new technology (Tech Savvy) and communicating with international teams. (Familiarity with MacBook, Google Docs, Gmail, Slack (or an alternative), videoconferencing is a plus+).
Have excellent spoken and written English, any other language is a plus

2: Senior Operations Manager

We’re looking for a strategic, analytical, and solutions-driven Senior Operations Manager to lead Driver Engagement, Marketplace Efficiency, Rider Growth, and Platform Safety in Tanzania. This role is central to the success of our local operations — from supply retention to rider lifecycle, platform safety, and expansion. You will own mission-critical KPIs and drive initiatives that scale our marketplace and ensure a safe, compliant, and high-performing ecosystem.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Driver Engagement, Retention & Growth: Lead driver engagement strategies to build an active, high-quality supply base; optimize onboarding, activation, and reactivation to achieve >90% MoM retention; and launch reward, support, and data-driven programs to improve performance, loyalty, and reduce churn.
Marketplace Performance & Unit Economics: Maximize Finished Rides while ensuring alignment with Payback and IRR targets; continuously monitor marketplace health and implement initiatives that improve efficiency and outcomes.
City-Level Operations & Execution: Own city-level performance by identifying blockers, defining solutions, and executing city-specific strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Supply–Demand Optimization: Optimize the balance between supply and demand to reduce cancellations, improve ETAs, and enhance overall marketplace reliability and quality.
Rider Growth & Experience: Drive growth in active riders and rides per user, improve rider retention and LTV through targeted engagement, category expansion, and close partnership with
Marketing on demand-side campaigns.
Risk, Safety & Compliance: Lead safety initiatives in collaboration with government, LATRA, and law enforcement; ensure compliance with local laws and policies including tax reporting; and mitigate risks by maintaining marketplace quality and trip authenticity.

About you:

Experience: 9+ years in operations, mobility, marketplace platforms, or logistics.
Leadership: Proven track record leading large-scale operational or marketplace functions.

3: Country Sales Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Country Sales Manager (Country Manager) for Bolt Business in Tanzania, Dar es Salaam. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the expansion of our business within the country, managing the B2B sales team, developing and implementing effective go-to-market strategies, and securing significant deals.

About the role

As Country Manager, you’ll drive the team’s sales success. You’ll ensure the team meets its targets, identify new growth opportunities, build strong client relationships, and closely monitor market trends and changes that may impact the business. Additionally, you will manage and optimise the existing portfolio, focusing on increasing value through upselling, cross-selling, and enhancing customer retention strategies. About you:

You hold a degree and bring 7+ years of experience in fast-paced B2B sales, with strong expertise in selling services to SMB, SME, and enterprise clients, and a proven track record across the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while understanding complex client needs.
You have at least 3+ years of experience leading high-performing B2B sales teams, with the leadership capability to attract, develop, motivate, and retain top talent while consistently delivering strong commercial outcomes.
You have a proven track record of negotiating and closing large enterprise deals, ideally within service-led businesses, and bring hands-on experience in structuring, negotiating, and closing B2G deals within complex public sector environments.
You have demonstrated ability to create, negotiate, and manage meaningful commercial partnerships that drive incremental growth for Bolt for Business, strengthen market position, and unlock new revenue streams.

4: Operations Manager

As an Operations Specialist you will have a direct and tangible impact on local operations that you can see in real-time. You will be leading local operations projects and working closely with other cross-functional/HQ stakeholders to support our mission to make cities more sustainable, accessible, and affordable.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Own and manage Bolt’s operations strategy for Dar es Salaam, with a focus on fleet performance, marketplace health, and supply engagement
Driver Growth (Acquisition Engine) – Own and scale the end-to-end driver acquisition funnel (Leads → Activation → Active), delivering sustained net activations growth with strong early retention, efficient acquisition costs, and smooth onboarding processes.
Fleets (Structured Supply Growth) – Build and grow high-quality fleet partnerships, increasing reliable multi-vehicle supply and fleet GMV contribution through disciplined B2B acquisition and strong partner account management.
Vehicles (Quality & Compliance Backbone) – Own vehicle onboarding, inspection, branding, and compliance standards to ensure high tagging accuracy, strong category alignment, and adherence to operational requirements.
Lead initiatives to reactivate underutilized fleet vehicles and improve the performance of active drivers and fleet partners
Analyze operational data and local trends to identify growth opportunities and pain points, and develop actionable solutions
Build and strengthen relationships with fleet partners, drivers, and other stakeholders to increase loyalty and engagement
Collaborate with HQ teams including Product, Legal, Central Operations, and Marketing to execute on strategic priorities
Design and roll out city-specific growth campaigns and efficiency-enhancing initiatives
Track and report on KPIs, ensure operational excellence, and continuously seek process improvements
Host training sessions, workshops, and roundtables with key partners to ensure alignment and performance

About you:

You have 7+ years of experience in Operations, Startups, Strategy Consulting, Mobility, Logistics, or other relevant organisations
You are a strong collaborator with excellent communication skills in English
You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills, yet are not afraid to get your hands dirty if needed
