Call for Work at TAMISEMI 2026, The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), in collaboration with Educate! Tanzania, has announced the selected volunteer contract teachers who have been assigned to teach Business Studies in secondary schools.
The recruitment follows an initiative aimed at improving the teaching and learning of Business Studies in secondary schools.
A total of 400 volunteer contract teacher positions were advertised for schools experiencing a high demand for Business Studies teachers across selected regions in Tanzania.

PO-RALG Business Studies Teachers 2026 Overview
The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government advertised 400 positions for volunteer (contract) teachers of Business Studies. The teachers were intended to serve secondary schools with a high demand for Business Studies teachers.
The recruitment covered schools in the following regions:
- Arusha
- Kilimanjaro
- Manyara
- Simiyu
- Kagera
- Geita
- Tabora
- Dodoma
- Morogoro
- Pwani
- Dar es Salaam
The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with Educate! Tanzania and is intended to support the implementation of the Education and Training Policy of 2014, 2023 edition, together with the improved Secondary Education Curriculum.
Business Studies is included in the curriculum with the aim of helping students develop entrepreneurial skills and knowledge.
Notice to Selected Contract Teachers
PO-RALG has announced the names of volunteer teachers who have met the requirements to teach Business Studies in secondary schools under contract.
Teachers who have been assigned schools are required to report to their respective stations and begin work between 1 and 14 October 2026.
Selected teachers should therefore make the necessary arrangements to report to their assigned schools within the specified period.
Any vacant position remaining after the reporting period will be filled by another eligible applicant.
