Sundy Merchants Company Limited is a Business Development Services Provider (BDSP) based in Dodoma, Tanzania. The company is an implementing partner for the EACOP Livelihood Restoration Project (LRP), which focuses on restoring and strengthening the livelihoods of Project Affected Households (PAHs) through improved livestock husbandry practices to enhance productivity, resilience, and sustainable income generation.
The EACOP Livelihood Restoration Project supports PAHs to recover and improve their livelihoods by promoting better livestock management, capacity building, and community engagement.
The project is implemented in 14 districts across 8 regions of Tanzania, namely Kagera, Geita, Tabora, Singida, Dodoma, Manyara, Kilimanjaro, and Tanga.

Available Positions
1: Community Mobilization and Training Facilitators (14 Positions)
Role Summary:
Responsible for mobilizing PAHs and local stakeholders, and supporting effective implementation of project activities at community level.
Key Responsibilities:
Mobilize and engage PAHs and community stakeholders
Support formation, strengthening coaching of community groups
Assist in field implementation, monitoring, and data collection
Collaborate with LGAs, CAHWs, and Ward Livestock Officers
Report writing and monitoring of project
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Community/Rural Development, or related fields
At least 1 years’ experience working with rural communities
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Willingness to work in remote areas
Knowledge of local languages is an added advantage
2: Procurement and Logistics Officer (1 Position)
Role Summary:
Responsible for managing procurement and logistics operations to ensure timely and compliant delivery of project goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement processes and supplier contracts
Oversee logistics, transport, inventory, and distribution
Coordinate staff travel and vehicle usage
Maintain procurement and inventory records
Ensure compliance with organizational
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
At least 3 years’ experience, including experience in development projects
Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
Professional procurement certification is an added advantage
3: Interns (4 Positions)
Role Summary:
Support project implementation, monitoring, logistics, and administration while gaining practical experience in community development and livestock projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Support community mobilization and trainings
Assist in data collection and reporting
Support distribution of project inputs
Assist with documentation and administrative tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (completed or ongoing) in relevant fields
Interest in community development or livestock projects
Basic computer and reporting skills
Willingness to work in field locations
