Babati Town Council is a local government authority located in Babati District, which is situated in the Manyara Region of northern Tanzania. The town is known for its role as an administrative and economic hub in the region. Duties and Responsibilities
Type letters, reports and documents of both routine and confidential nature;
Receive visitors and their arrival and explain to them where they can be helped;
Maintain records of events, appointments, meeting dates, trips of the Head and other work schedules;
Search for files and documents required in the implementation of work duties;
Receive files and distribute them to Officers in the relevant Department/Unit/Section;
Collect, maintain and return files and documents to the relevant departments;
Arrange notes and make preparations for various meetings;
Prepare a list of office equipment requirements; and
Perform other tasks assigned by the Head.
Qualifications
Form Four or Form Six graduates with a Diploma in English or NTA level 6 certificate will be recruited.
In addition, they must have passed the Kiswahili and English Hatimkato subject with 100 points in one minute and have acquired office computer programs such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, E-mail and Publisher from any university recognized by the Government.

Inspecting the vehicle before and after the trip to determine the safety condition of the vehicle;
Sending Employees to various locations on business trips;
Carrying out minor vehicle repairs;
Filling and maintaining all trip information in the trip log;

Qualifications
Employees must have a Form IV certificate and a Class E or C driving license that they have worked on for at least one (1) year without causing an accident, along with training certificates that qualified them to obtain the relevant classes.
They must have attended the Basic Driving Course provided by the VETA College or another College recognized by the Government.
