Job Vacancies at Sekou Toure Referral Hospital April2026, Sekou-Toure Hospital is a public, region-level hospital with 350 beds that provides medical, surgical, and basic diagnostic healthcare services to the people living in Nyamagana Municipality and the rest of the Mwanza Region.
1. Mortuary Attendant – Vacancies (4)
A. Applicant Qualifications for Direct Entry
• Form Four Education and above Health education or a certificate related to health services or mortuary services.
. Ability to work in a challenging environment.
• Discipline, honesty and respect for work secrets.
• Good physical and mental health.
. Ability to follow procedures and instructions carefully.
Basic knowledge of hygiene and infection prevention.
B. Duties of the Mortuary Attendant
Receiving and storing the bodies of the deceased in an appropriate manner.
Cleaning and preparing the bodies before storage or handing them over to relatives.
Keeping accurate records of the bodies (names, dates, etc.).
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the mortuary and its equipment.
• Following safety and infection prevention procedures.
• Assisting in the delivery of bodies to relatives or relevant institutions.
• Maintaining work equipment such as refrigerators for storing bodies.
2. Assistant IT Officer – Vacancy (2)
A. Qualifications for direct entry
i. A graduate of Form Four or Six with a Diploma in Computer Science in one of the following fields; Computer Science, Information Technology and Information and Communication Technology, Information Systems Management or other relevant training.
B. Duties of the Assistant IT Officer
i. Maintain all records and procedures.
ii. Implement flow charts for information and control systems.
iii. Implement software systems (Write and document code).
iv. Perform unit systems (module testing).
V. Perform testing of system configurations.
POINTS TO CONSIDER FOR THE APPLICANT
1. The volunteer applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen aged between 18 and 35 years and must not have been employed in any Public Institution.
2. Must have a Form Four or Six pass certificate.
3. Must have a diploma certificate in the relevant field.
4. Attach a CV with address and telephone number. 5. Must have two passport size color photographs.
6. Must have a copy of the Nida ID card.
7. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (NACTE and NECTA).
8. Testimonial provisional/statements of results will not be accepted.
9. Submission of false information and qualifications, the parties will be subject to legal action.
The applicant who will be awarded a contract employment position will be paid the amount of Tshs. 250,000/= as per the guidelines of the Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance issued on December 24, 2025 with Ref. No. HA. 151/200/01/12
