Full Funded Scholarship Opportunity in Saudi Arabia 2026/2027, The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is pleased to inform the general public that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has offered 127 undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships to Tanzanian students for the 2026/2027 academic year.

These scholarships will be undertaken at 27 Universities across Saudi Arabia.

Applicants with an interest in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence are highly encouraged to apply.

2.  Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Undergraduate  

Applicant should meet the following requirements:

Must be younger than 21 years of age by 01 January, 2027

Have a minimum of five (5) credits for Diploma programmes; or Have an Advanced Certificate for Secondary Education or equivalent

Masters Degree Applicants 

A recognized Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum GPA 3.8 or equivalent.

Must be younger than 30 years of age by 01 January, 2027.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Applicants

A recognized Master’s degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum GPA of 4.0 or equivalent.

Have a Master’s degree; and

Must be younger than 35 years of age by 01 January 2027.

Typically, two to three recommendation letters from previous faculty members are required. These letters should attest to the applicant’s academic capabilities and suitability for postgraduate study.

Applicants are required to provide a medical report confirming that they are free from infectious or communicable diseases.

NOTE: The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania will not provide a loan or grant for candidates who are awarded this scholarship.
