Job Vacancies at Maweni Regional Referral Hospital June 2026

Job Vacancies at Maweni Regional Referral Hospital June 2026, Maweni Regional Referral Hospital, Kigoma, began providing services at its current location in 1972.

Before that, services were provided in Kigoma city at an area that is currently used as a center for raising children living in vulnerable environments in Sanganyigwa. This hospital was established to provide services to the citizens of Kigoma city.

It is currently a Regional Referral Hospital that receives patients from all districts of Kigoma Region as well as refugees and citizens from neighboring countries of Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Maweni Hospital was upgraded to a Regional Referral Hospital by a notice issued in the Government Gazette No. 828 dated 12/11/2010. The hospital has a capacity of 300 beds in 11 existing wards.
