Who are you?

A highly motivated Music Teacher with excellent attention to detail who loves working with students and can lead practical music sessions.

Skilled in preparing lesson plans, organizing musical performances, and managing classroom resources effectively.

Someone who understands the importance of fostering a creative and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel encouraged and supported throughout their musical journey.

A responsible and hardworking individual who enjoys mentoring students, guiding music projects, and providing extra support to students who need more attention to develop their musical skills.

Confident in using technology and software to enhance music education, manage resources, and organize school performances.

What we are looking for

A Tanzanian who holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Music, Arts and Design, Theater, Traditional Music, or a related field.

Applicants must have graduated from an accredited higher learning institution within East Africa and have excellent academic performance records.

A minimum of three years of teaching experience in a secondary school or an institution that teaches music.

Passion for music education and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, which is used as the medium of instruction.

A well-rounded, independent, and mature individual with diverse knowledge of the NECTA curriculum.

Someone who observes ethical standards and demonstrates professionalism in their approach and standard of work.

An individual who can adapt to the school’s diverse policies and procedures, including working over weekends when required.
