17 Vacancies at Kampala University in Tanzania (KIUT) September 2026, Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT) is a private institution that is fully accredited by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU). The University is located in Gongo la Mboto, Dar es Salaam, approximately 8 kilometers from Julius Nyerere International Airport.

KIUT seeks to attract highly qualified human resources to fill the following academic positions:

DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACY

A. Assistant Lecturer (Full-time Staff) required in the following disciplines;

1. Pharmaceutical Chemistry (4 Positions)

2. Pharmacy Practice (4 Positions)

3. Pharmacognosy (3 Positions)

4. Clinical Pharmacy (3 Positions)

5. Agro-veterinary Pharmacy (1 Position)

6. Ethics & Law in Pharmacy (1 Position)

7. Pharmacy Management / Pharmacoeconomics (1 Position)

Requirements and Qualifications

Applicant should be a holder of:

i. Master’s degree in any of the disciplines listed above with a minimum GPA of 4.0

ii. Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent in the relevant discipline) with a minimum GPA of 3.5

iii. Must be actively registered with the Pharmacy Council.

iv. At least 3 years of teaching experience.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. Nationality: All nationalities are encouraged to apply, but Tanzanian citizens will be given priority.

2. Curriculum Vitae: up-to-date CV containing reliable contacts (postal address, postcode, email, and telephone numbers).

3. Documentation: Applicants must attach certified copies of their academic certificates and transcripts.

4. Strictly Non-Acceptable Documents: Form IV and Form VI results slips, testimonials, and partial
transcripts will not be accepted.

5. Referees: Applicants must provide names and reli- able contacts of three (3) reputable referees.

6. Foreign Certificates:

. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education must be verified by NECTA and NACTE.

. Certificates from foreign Universities must be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).

7.Legal action will be taken against any applicant presenting forged certificates or false information.
