1: POSITION: Superintendent 2 – Production Operations

EMPLOYMENT STATUS

Full Time

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Track Critical Control Verifications, leadership site walkabouts, and frontline participation in site safety programs, and proactively manage and reduce hazards.
  • Monitor process safety incident rates, insurance audit readiness scores, fatal risk control overrides, injury and illness frequency, compliance violations, investigation cycle times, and close-out of corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory inspections, health and safety policies, and national and international standards and regulations including NEMC, ISO14001, ISO45001, IMIU, OSHAS and ICMI.
  • Drive proactive risk management through Behaviour-Based Safety observations, near-miss reporting, pre-task risk assessments, safety interventions, PTOs and inspections.
  • Monitor housekeeping audit scores across crushing, milling, treatment, laydown and waste sorting yard facilities and maintain environmental regulatory alignment.
  • Develop and execute annual production plans and budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Deliver plant performance in line with or exceeding budget targets for throughput, recovery and cost.
  • Define and implement operating strategies to transition plant performance to future production states.
  • Oversee metallurgical data integrity, analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
  • Ensure robust metallurgical accounting systems and process discipline.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Education & Qualification

  • BSc in Engineering in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years in gold plant operations involving crushing, milling, thickening, leaching, elution plants, TSF and compressors.
  • Experience in analysis and management of operational budgets, cost control and financial forecasting.
  • Preparation of plant runtime and plant throughput for monthly plans and Life of Mine budgeting.
  • Basic understanding of project management is required.

2: Clerk 2, Environment

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintain an organised electronic and physical filing system for Environment Department records, correspondence, reports and supporting documents.
  • Maintain departmental document registers, trackers and administrative records, including monitoring due dates and following up outstanding submissions or actions.
  • Upload, circulate and track documents through DocuSign and other approved document-management platforms.
  • Create and track material reservations, purchase requisitions and service entry sheets in SAP as instructed by the responsible departmental personnel.
  • Maintain records of departmental purchases, service orders, deliveries and supporting documentation and assist with follow-up of outstanding procurement transactions.
  • Maintain stock records for office supplies and other routine departmental consumables and initiate replenishment requests as required.
  • Coordinate routine departmental administrative arrangements including meetings, meeting rooms, invitations, travel, accommodation and gate-pass requests.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Education & Qualification

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, Records Management, Procurement/Supply Chain, Secretarial Studies, Information Management or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in office administration, records management, document control, procurement support or a similar clerical role.
  • Experience in mining, construction, industrial or other operational environments would be advantageous.
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP system would be advantageous.
  • Experience with electronic document-management and approval systems would be advantageous.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to meet applicable mine-site access and safety requirements.

3: Senior Technical Specialist, Mine Geology

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

Provide technical leadership and governance across mine geology systems,  processes and projects that support open pit and underground mining. Ensure geological data, modelling, and reconciliation workflows are accurate, reliable, efficient, and aligned with operational and business value so that ore is properly defined, mined, tracked, and reconciled.

Optimizing data-supported decision-making by integrating advanced geoscience principles and systems management for optimal plant feed blend and maximum ore recovery.

Drive continuous improvement in geological workflows, maintain the integrity of key software and data platforms, and support informed decision making through high-quality analysis and reporting.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Education & Qualification

  • BSc (Hons) in Geology
  • Registration with a recognized professional body
  • Tanzanian Citizen

Experience

  • At least 10 years relevant experience in the mining industry
  • At least 5 years in mineral resource evaluation discipline for gold deposits
  • Proven project management and team supervision

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Mine to Mill reconciliation processes
  • Advanced ability in geological data analysis, interpretation, and 3D geological modelling
  • Competence on computer-aided software including Datamine, Leapfrog, and Geovariance Isatis
  • Proficiency in production tracking data platforms such as Connected Mine or similar
  • Competence in data analytical tools including Power BI, SQL Server, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Understanding of drilling, sampling, grade control, and resource evaluation workflows
  • Technical understanding of geometallurgical proxies and ore performance characteristics
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and improve geological systems, processes, and models
  • Strong capability in software administration, licensing oversight, and coordination with external service providers
