Mo Scholarships Program 2026/2027

Mo Scholarships Program 2026/2027, The Mo Scholars Program is a higher-education scholarship initiative established by the Mo Dewji Foundation (MDF) to support talented and ambitious young Tanzanians who face financial barriers to pursuing university education.

The programme goes beyond tuition support. According to the Mo Dewji Foundation, scholars receive a combination of financial support, mentorship, career guidance, leadership and skills development, and opportunities for community engagement.

The programme was launched in 2016 and has supported hundreds of Tanzanian students pursuing higher education. The Foundation says the programme currently works with higher-learning institutions across Tanzania and supports students in a wide range of academic fields.

The Mo Scholars Program is designed to help financially disadvantaged but determined young Tanzanians access higher education and develop the skills needed for their future careers.

The Foundation describes education as more than access to university. Through its Learner’s Journey, the programme combines academic support with personal development, leadership, career readiness and practical exposure.

The programme’s approach is intended to help scholars transition from university education into meaningful employment, entrepreneurship and community leadership.
