This subject is taught in Swahili to build and develop Tanzanian traditions, customs and culture. Also, this subject aims to build a patriotic and responsible Tanzanian who is aware of the history, customs, traditions and values ​​of Tanzania. Some of the objectives of this subject are to build values, promote nationalism and patriotism as well as protect the interests of the country and the Nation.

It is expected that this subject will enable the graduate to live by following the principles of valuing work, responsibility, dignity, integrity, unity, patriotism, love and valuing National resources.
