11 Vacancies at Bariadi District Council March 2026, The Executive Director of Bariadi District Council invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for eleven (11) job positions in this Council after obtaining approval from the Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance with the following breakdown:-
1.1 DRIVER CLASS II – POSITION 07
1.1.2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i Inspecting the vehicle before and after the trip to determine the safety condition of the vehicle
ii Sending employees to various locations on business trips.
iii Carrying out minor vehicle repairs,
iv Collecting and distributing various documents
v Filling and maintaining information on all trips in the trip logbook,
vi Cleaning the vehicle; and
vii To perform other duties as directed by the Employer
1.1.3 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
To be employed with a Form IV certificate, must have a Class C or E driving license (Must have attended training and obtained a certificate that enabled you to obtain a Class C or E license) for driving vehicles in which he has worked for a period of not less than one year without causing an accident, Must have attended a basic driving training course (Basic Driving Course) provided by a Veta College or NIT or another College recognized by the Government.
1.1.4 SALARY LEVEL:
Based on the Government Salary level, namely TGS B
1.2 ARCHIVE ASSISTANT GRADE II – POSITION 4
1.2.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Register incoming correspondence register
ii. Register outgoing correspondence register;
iii. Distribute and receive files from action officers
iv. Return files to racks/filling cabinets or other storage locations;
v. Track file circulation within the institution (file tracking);
vi. Analyze, list and organize records/documents into groups according to the relevant subject (Classification and Boxing) for Office use;
vii. Place/organize records/documents in file racks/cabinets in the registry/file storage rooms;
viii. Place records (letters, documents etc.) in files;
ix. Perform any other duties assigned to him/her by his/her supervisor.
1.2.2 QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT.
Must have completed Form Four (IV) or Form Six (VI), Diploma (NTA level 6) in the field of Records Management from a recognized institution.
1.2.3 SALARY. TGS C
2.0 GENERAL CONDITIONS.
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens and between 18 and 45 years of age.

viii. Applicants who studied outside the country should ensure that their certificates have been verified and certified by the relevant Authorities (TCU, NECTA AND NACTE).
ix. Retired Public Service candidates are not allowed to apply unless they have the approval of the Principal Secretary.
x. Candidates who are already employed in entry-level positions in the Public Service should not apply and should adhere to the instructions contained in Circular No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140 of 30th December 2010.
