Vacancies at German Embassy Dar es Salaam April 2026, The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Dar es Salaam is looking for a competent and reliable Maintenance Worker for the Embassy and official residences starting in June/July 2026.

Job Vacancy: Maintenance Worker

Duties include:

Maintenance of Embassy and official residences.
Carrying out small repairs.
Oversee and coordinate outsourced maintenance and repair service providers.
Assigning and supervising external contractors.
Capacity of carrying and lifting small items/objects and outdoor work.
Perform other duties as assigned by Embassy administration.
Assistance with the preparation and execution of building measures.
Acquisition and administration of office material; record keeping.

Business assistant jobs
Running errands.

Requirements:

Completed school education and at least 5 years of work experience.
Relevant vocational training in skilled trades, building services (preferably as a qualified electrician).
Ability to work in a team, resilience, engaging demeanor; courteous and helpful manner.
Driving license (Class B) and several years of driving experience.
IT knowledge.
Note for Non-Tanzanian applicants: Must possess a valid residence and work permit for the United Republic of Tanzania (The Embassy cannot provide support in the procurement process).

Language Skills:

Very good English skills (writing & speaking).
Kiswahili (writing & speaking).

Additional Desired Skills:

Knowledge of German.
Experience in a similar role.
Truck driving license.
