The Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) announces volunteer opportunities for graduates and young people in various fields. These opportunities aim to enable participants to gain work experience, practical knowledge, and professional skills within the unique environment of conservation and community development.

The following volunteer opportunities are available:

1. Assistant Supplies and Procurement Officer II – 2 Positions

Applicants must hold a Certificate or Diploma in one of the following fields: Materials Management, Procurement and Supplies Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration with a specialization in Procurement and Supplies, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

2. Planning Officer II – 2 Positions

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Statistics, Economics, Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, Project Planning and Management, Economic Planning, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

3. Public Relations Officer II – 2 Positions

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

4. Tourism Officer II – 2 Positions

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Tourism Management, Wildlife Tourism, Tour Guiding, Management of Tourist Attractions, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

5. Marketing Officer II – 3 Positions

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, Marketing, Business Administration/Commerce with a specialization in Marketing, Sales and Marketing, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

6. Assistant Community Development Officer II – 10 Positions

Applicants must hold a Diploma in one of the following fields: Community Development, Development Studies, Rural Development, Sociology, Gender and Development, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

7. ICT Officer – 3 Positions

Applicants must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Database Administration, Computer Systems Analysis, Computer Systems Security, Network Administration, Web and Multimedia Administration, Computer Applications, Computer Programming, or other equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

8. Wildlife Officer II – 2 Positions

Applicants must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Wildlife Management, Range Management, Wildlife Ecology, Zoology, Natural Resource Management, or other equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

9. Assistant Mechanical Technicians (Water) II – 12 Positions

Applicants must hold a Form IV Certificate together with a Trade Test Grade II/Level II Certificate or Certificate in one of the following fields: Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, Pump Mechanical, Water Engineering, from a recognized institution.

APPLICATION TERMS AND INSTRUCTIONS

All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and must not be above 45 years of age.

Geographic Reference

Applicants must apply for the volunteer opportunities based on the information and qualifications specified in this announcement.

Applicants are required to attach certified copies of the following certificates:

    • Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma certificates
    • Professional registration and training certificates from the relevant registration or regulatory boards/authorities, where applicable
    • Birth certificate

The following documents must NOT be attached:

    • Form IV and Form VI result slips
    • Testimonials
    • Incomplete transcripts

Applicants must attach a recent passport-size photograph to their application letter.

Applicants who are already employed in the Public Service are strictly not allowed to apply for the volunteer opportunities.

Applicants must provide three (3) qualified and recognized referees, together with their reliable contact details, or a letter of identification from the Street Chairperson/Executive Officer.
