New Vacancies at Bagamoyo Sugar Limited September 2026, At the behest of the Tanzanian Government, the green field project of Bagamoyo Sugar Limited (Bagamoyo Sugar), a unit of Bakhresa Group, was incorporated on 01 December 2016, to grow sugar cane in the nucleus estate and produce sugar at Makurunge, Bagamoyo District.
The main objective of the project is not only reducing dependence on sugar imports and attaining self-sufficiency, but also producing surplus sugar for export. It is the first time that this project is being implemented in Tanzania at this scale.
The sugar plant is being supplied by Thyssenkrupp India Pvt Ltd, a German company based in India and the farm is supported for irrigation using state-of-the-art digital farm technology, from Netafim, an Israeli-based company.
The project implementation is going on as per schedule to start commercial production by mid-2022. In phase 1 of the project, it is estimated to produce about 30,000 tonnes of sugar.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• To collect and prepare sample for laboratory analysis from production, water systems and effluent treatment facilities.
To monitor water quality for tap water, process water and waste discharge to ensure compliance with standard.
To maintain accurate records of laboratory tests, analysis results, and daily activities.
To clean, operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments according to procedures.
To support quality control programs and continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED.
Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory technology, Food science, analytical chemistry, or related field.
1-3 year’s of relevant manufacturing or cane laboratory experience.
2: POSITION: ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER (ANO)

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide nursing care and vital signs monitoring.
Administer medications and perform basic treatments under the guidance of senior staff.
Performing various medical procedures within your level.
• Educating and counseling patients about health care plan and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and prepare reports as per regulations.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth delivery of patient’s care.
Maintain infectious prevention control (IPC),5S and hygiene management of patient care units.
Supervise junior nursing staff and assist in managing duty rosters.
Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED.
A diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution.
Registration with Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC) is mandatory.
Possess a valid practicing license.
1-3 year’s proven working experience.
