1: Strategy Monitoring Analyst (1 Position(s))

Job Purpose:
Responsible for supporting the execution of the Bank’s strategic plan through data-driven monitoring, performance analysis and strategic insights. The role is responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources to monitor strategic initiatives, evaluate business performance, identify emerging trends and risks, and provide actionable insights that support management decision-making.

The role will work closely with Business Units, the Strategy Team and other stakeholders to ensure accurate performance measurement, timely reporting and continuous monitoring of strategic initiatives against the Bank’s Medium-Term Plan (MTP).

Knowledge and Skills:
Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel including Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas and data modelling.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interrogate and interpret complex datasets.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis is highly desirable.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Good understanding of data quality management and analytical methodologies.
  • Strong financial and business performance analysis skills.

2: Senior Relationship Manager; Mortgage Financing (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Northern Zone, Hq
Job Purpose:
To lead and coordinate the performance of zone Relationship Managers – Mortgage and directly originate, structure and close high-value and complex mortgage transactions.
The role is accountable for mortgage portfolio growth, revenue, pipeline conversion, customer experience and asset quality across the assigned zones, while developing strategic referral partnerships and ensuring disciplined execution, compliance and timely end-to-end delivery.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Mortgage and housing-finance products, customer segments, distribution channels and market dynamics.
  • Credit appraisal, affordability and cash-flow assessment, Debt Service Ratio, facility structuring and pricing.
  • Property valuation, Loan-to-Value assessment, collateral, land ownership, legal perfection and insurance requirements.
  • Mortgage portfolio economics, revenue drivers, asset quality, arrears management and management information.
  • Sales leadership, performance management, key-account management and strategic partnership development.

3: Senior Manager; Credit Assessment (1 Position(s))

Job Purpose:
Responsible to lead the Wholesale Credit Assessment team through competent management, assessment, administration, inspection, monitoring, and reporting on the credit risk of the bank. This ensures the sustainably profitable position of the Bank by originating and maintaining a Wholesale Credit portfolio which contributes to the Bank’s strategy.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Special asset management, business law, wholesale and retail credit analysis
  • Technical – Business understanding of structured transactions, syndications
  • Behavioural – Leadership of Change, Adaptability, Coaching, Delegation, Managing Employee Performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Law, Economics, or related fields.

4: Senior Analyst; Client Origination (1 Position(s))

Job Purpose:
To evaluate counter-party credit risks associated with Wholesale Banking lending at the client interface, with the primary objective to contain credit risk within acceptable parameters.
Responsible to develop and maintain close relationships with the broader lending, Structured Trade finance and co-financier community with a view to facilitating the syndication and co-financing of sovereign (public sector) and non-sovereign (private sector) borrowing customers and originate and execute transactions across Wholesale Banking customers.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of the key areas in Wholesale Banking.
  • Understanding of key financial indicators and usage of financial analysis to evaluate strategic options and opportunities.
  • Robust credit knowledge

Job Purpose:
To drive sustainable growth, profitability and portfolio quality of the Banks Special Lending portfolio, with primary responsibility for Pensioners Loans, Salary Advance and secured personal lending solutions including cash-covered, bond/investment-backed and other approved secured facilities
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of retail/consumer lending, credit assessment, portfolio management and lending risk controls.
  • Sound understanding of pensioner lending and the pension ecosystem, including customer acquisition, repayment arrangements and key stakeholder relationships.
  • Sound knowledge of secured personal lending, including cash-covered and bond/investment-backed facilities, collateral/security requirements and related operational processes.
  • Good understanding of Salary Advance and digitally enabled short-term lending propositions, including customer eligibility, utilization and portfolio monitoring.
  • Good knowledge of banking products and services, policies, procedures, KYC/AML requirements and branch operations.

6: Relationship Manager; Commercial – Chinese Desk (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Highlands Zone
Job Purpose:
Responsible for advising the Business Banking Commercial department on strategy towards growing customer base of Chinese Commercial businesses.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Good Credit analysis skills.
  • Good customer relationship and sound understanding of bank loan products, policies and procedures.
  • Conversant with standard computer applications (Excel, Word, and Access).
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be fluent in Chinese language.
  • Good business management, leadership, coaching, and team building skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or related fields.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in Retail Banking (SME and commercial Business) lending and/ or Business Banking relationship management role.
  • Experience in dealing with the Chinese sector is a must.

Job Purpose:
To grow and retain a portfolio of Institutional Banking clients (both Government and Private Institutions) by performing a proactive, value adding financial partnership role, ensuring that close personal attention is given to provide a full array of customized financial solutions and services tailored to meet the growth needs Institutional clients.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of general banking practices, policies, procedures and regulatory environment.
  • Current knowledge of different industry sectors and sector risk profiles/ trends
  • In-depth understanding of Institutional competitor activity, drivers, products, strengths, vulnerabilities, market share and client base accordingly to meet business objectives.

8: NOC Infrastructure Specialist (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Head Office, Hq
Job Purpose:
Proactively monitor, conduct level 2 troubleshooting, and escalate all incidents and problems raised within the Network Operation Center (NOC), which will or has the potential to degrade bank services, and ensure service delivery meets and exceeds business customers expectations by maintaining the value of the services.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Service management standards and baselines in Operating Systems, Network Virtual environments, Databases, and middleware
  • Good Knowledge on networks, applications, data center infrastructure, self-service channels, power, and cooling utilities monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in developing with two of the following languages; C#/.Net, PHP, Java and Objective-C/Swift (added advantage)
  • Experience with web application technologies including; CSS3, HTML 5 and Query/JavaScript
  • Possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be creative, innovative, aggressive and a team player.
