Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism of United Republic of Tanzania, is the Ministry responsible for management of Natural, Cultural and Tourism resources. Tanzania has a great potential for natural resources, cultural and tourism attractions. In terms of wildlife, the present network of wildlife Protected Areas (PAs) in Tanzania is comprised of 22 National Parks, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, 27 Game Reserves and 27 Game Controlled Areas.
The wildlife protected area network covers 307,800 Sq. Km (32.5%) of the total Tanzania’s land surface area.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism wishes to inform all applicants who have applied for the positions of “Sustainable Food Systems Specialist in the Rice Sector Development” and “Gender and Safe Guard Specialist” of the “Food Systems, Land Use and Landscape Restoration in Forest Areas of Tanzania” Project which is a sub-project under the GEF Impact Framework for Food Systems, Land Use and Restoration (FOLUR).
This five-year project is being implemented through the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism as the Lead Implementing Agency, in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) as the GEF Implementing Agency that the interview is expected to be conducted on
09-01-2026 and the assignment of work stations to successful applicants. Candidates called for interview should adhere to the following instructions:
1. The interview will be held from the date as indicated in this Advertisement, the time and place where the interview will be held is specified.
2. Each candidate is required to arrive at the interview location wearing a Mask
3. Each candidate should have an identification card for identification;
4. Acceptable identification cards include:- Resident ID, Voter ID, Work ID, Citizenship ID or Passport.
5. Candidates are required to arrive with their ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES, starting from birth certificate, Form IV, Form VI, Diploma, Higher Diploma, Degree and continue depending on the qualifications of the Applicant.
6. Candidates who submit Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statement of results, Form IV and VI results slips (form V and form VI results slips) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE WITH THE INTERVIEW.
7. Each candidate will be responsible for their own food, transportation and accommodation.
8. Each candidate should adhere to the date, time and place of the interview.
9. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (such as TCU, NACTE or NECTA).
10. Job applicants whose names did not appear in this advertisement should note that they did not meet the criteria. Therefore, they should not hesitate to apply again when the job vacancies are announced and adhere to the requirements of the relevant advertisement.
11. Cadres who are required to be registered with their Academic Boards should bring their Original Registration Certificates and Work Licenses.
