Job Summary:
The Accountant will manage financial records, payments, reporting, and statutory compliance while providing accurate financial information for decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Coffee industry knowledge is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
File statutory returns and prepare budgets, cash flow, and management accounts.
Manage company assets, coffee stock, credit facilities, and staff loans.
Ensure proper filing of accounting documents.
Prepare reports for management decision-making.
Perform other duties assigned by the MD.
2. Business Supervisor
Locations:Â Mbinga (1) and Kagera (1) |Â Positions:Â 2
Job Summary:
Oversee regional operations, ensure profitability, manage staff and assets, and maintain strong relationships with producers, cooperatives, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
Coffee industry knowledge is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage regional operations (Mbinga or Kagera).
Ensure cost-effective operations and profitability.
Supervise staff and ensure targets are achieved.
Manage producer and contract farming relationships.
Oversee coffee stock movements and reporting.
Maintain compliance with coffee laws and regulations.
Coordinate coffee milling, deliveries, and buyer visits.
Prepare operational, inventory, and cost analysis reports.
3. Assistant Coffee Quality Officer
Locations:Â Mbinga and Kagera |Â Positions:Â 3
Job Summary:
Manage coffee samples, conduct quality analysis, participate in cupping, and ensure coffee meets MCCL quality standards.
Qualifications:
Certificate of coffee quality & trade (CQT) OR Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Agriculture, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality control or coffee analysis.
Skills in coffee production, quality control, cupping, and analysis.
Strong coffee knowledge and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and record coffee samples at the laboratory.
Conduct physical analysis (moisture, defects, color, odor).
Prepare and participate in cupping sessions.
Manage producer samples, stock lots, and pre-shipment samples.
Ensure all coffee deliveries meet MCCL quality standards.
4. Assistant Logistics & Transportation Officer
Locations:Â Morogoro (1) and Dar es Salaam (1) |Â Positions:Â 2
Job Summary:
Manage coffee storage, stock control, transportation, and fleet operations to ensure timely and quality delivery of coffee.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics and transportation.
Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Coffee industry experience is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities – Logistics:
Manage coffee storage and warehouse operations.
Maintain coffee stock records and conduct quality checks.
Coordinate sorting, sample dispatch, and reporting.
Support factory maintenance and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities – Transportation:
Plan and supervise shipments for timely delivery.
Oversee fleet management, inspections, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
Supervise drivers and logistics staff.
Monitor transportation costs and maintain proper documentation.
5. Roast Coffee Sales Officer
Location:Â Dar es Salaam |Â Positions:Â 1
Job Summary:
Drive sales growth for roasted coffee products by developing strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales (FMCG or coffee industry preferred).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and marketing skills.
Coffee knowledge is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
Manage customer relationships and feedback.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Promote products through trade shows, presentations, and social media.
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
Identify new business opportunities.
