Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is the national airline of Tanzania, carrying with it the national treasure and pride of Mt Kilimanjaro as its slogan – ‘The Wings of Kilimanjaro’.
Based in Dar es Salaam, with its hub at the modern state of the art Julius Nyerere International Airport out of Terminals II and III. The airline is IOSA certified and a proud member of IATA. ATCL has been a member of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) since its establishment in 1977 following the dissolution of East African Airways.
ATCL is a government-owned airline with a fleet of 16 aircrafts; one Dash 8-Q300, five Dash 8-Q400, four Airbus A220-300, two Boeing 737 Max 9, three Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and one Boeing 767-300F (Cargo Freighter).
With a young fleet, ATCL maintains its position as the leading airline in Tanzania, providing extensive domestic and international connectivity with over 120 weekly flights to more than 15 destinations.

Cabin Crew Training at Air Tanzania (ATCL) 2026
ATCL Training Centre is pleased to announce the opening of applications for its prestigious AB INITIO Cabin Crew Course. The course will have a duration of three (3) months and is scheduled to commence on 9th March, 2026.
Applicant Qualifications
Age: 18 years to 25 years.
Appearance: Visible tattoos and marks are strictly not permitted.
Physical Requirements: Minimum height of 5’4” (162 cm).
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have passed at least four subjects at the Ordinary
Education Level, where English and Geography are mandatory.
Language Proficiency: Competent in written and spoken Swahili and English. Knowledge of additional foreign languages such as Arabic, French, or Chinese will be an added advantage.
Nationality: Must be Tanzanian or foreign citizens.
Foreign nationals must obtain a valid immigration visa to live and study in Tanzania and are required to verify their academic qualifications through the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
