The Ruangwa District Council is one of the beneficiaries of LTIP activities. In Ruangwa, the project is expected to support the preparation of Village Land Use Plans (VLUP) and Detail Settlement Plan (DSP) covering the settlement part of the villages, as well as the issuance of CCROs, renovation/construction of district and village land offices.

The Executive Director of Ruangwa District Council invites all citizens with structural qualifications to apply for the position specified below;
1.0 CLASS II DRIVER – POSITION 9
1.1. DUTIES OF CLASS II DRIVER
i) Inspecting the vehicle before and after the trip to determine the safety status of the vehicle.
ii) Taking employees to various locations on business trips.
iii) Carrying out minor vehicle repairs.
iv) Collecting and distributing various documents when necessary
v) Filling and maintaining information on all trips in the trip log
vi) Cleaning the vehicle and
vii) Other tasks assigned by the Employer.
1.1.1. QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
i) Must have completed Form Four (IV) or Form Six (VI).
ii) Must have a Class “E or C1” driving license and experience in driving vehicles for not less than one year without causing an accident.
iii) Must have attended a Basic Driving Course provided by a Vocational Training Institute (VETA) or any other recognized institution.
iv) Applicants with a Grade II Technical Test Certificate will be considered first.
1.1.2. PAYMENT
The positions are intended to provide graduates with an opportunity to learn and gain experience and are not permanent employment. Successful candidates will be paid an allowance in accordance with Government guidelines.
2.0. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS.
I. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens and between the ages of 18 and 35;

IV. “Testimonial”, “Provisional Result”, “Statement of result”, Form IV and Form VI RESULTS SLIPS (FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
