ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER II – 8 Positions
Applicant Qualifications
Must have completed secondary education (Form Four) and hold a Diploma in Nursing from a Government recognized college. Must be registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Provide Nursing services.
ii. Collect important health statistics.
iii. Provide guidance to subordinate nurses.
iv. Educate patients and the community on their health problems.
v. Provide preventive and maternal and child health services.
vi. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor related to his or her education, experience, and skills.
MEDICAL RECORDS ASSISTANT – 7 Positions
Applicant Qualifications
Must have completed secondary education (Form Four) and hold a Diploma in Health Records from a Government recognized college.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Receive patients and register them in reception books.
ii. Open files for patients.
iii. Maintain patient files and records related to patients.
iv. Collect, store, analyze, and interpret health information and health-related information.
v. Prepare hospital health reports and enter them into the information system.
vi. Verify and manage the quality of patient statistics.
vii. Prepare all required health reports at the hospital and Ministry level and submit them to the Medical Officer in Charge.
viii. Supervise the performance of subordinate staff.
ix. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor related to his or her education, experience, and skills.
MEDICAL RECORDS ASSISTANT (REGISTRY CLERK) – 2 Positions
Applicant Qualifications
Must have completed secondary education (Form Four) and hold a Diploma in Records Management from a Government recognized college.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Ensure incoming registry documents reach the concerned parties in a timely manner.
ii. Ensure all documents required to be dispatched outside the office are sent without delay.
iii. Ensure the morning list is conducted thoroughly to identify files that are out of the registry.
iv. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor related to his or her education, experience, and skills.
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER – 1 Position
Applicant Qualifications
Must have completed secondary education (Form Four or Form Six) and hold a Degree in the respective field from a Government recognized college.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Conduct surveys for roads, buildings, and drainage systems as directed.
ii. Supervise the construction of road and building projects carried out by small-scale contractors.
iii. Supervise artisans in teams repairing Government houses and roads.
iv. Prepare cost estimates and materials for small-scale projects.
v. Inspect the construction of Government buildings and roads.
vi. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor related to his or her education, experience, and skills.
NUTRITION OFFICER II – 1 Position
Applicant Qualifications
Must hold a Diploma or Degree in Nutrition or Food Science and Food Technology from a Government recognized college.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Collect nutrition information and statistics from various stakeholders and provide advice on good nutrition.
ii. Analyze nutrition statistics and prepare reports on children and other groups with malnutrition.
iii. Participate in preparing nutrition plans and budgets in the hospital.
iv. Provide regular reports on the nutrition situation at the hospital level.
v. Supervise nutrition work within the hospital.
vi. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor related to his or her education, experience, and skills.
PLUMBING TECHNICIAN – 1 Position
Applicant Qualifications
Must have completed secondary education (Form Four) and hold a Diploma in the respective field from a Government recognized college.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Ensure all maintenance related to water infrastructure is carried out.
ii. Maintain and store all equipment used.
iii. Ensure water infrastructure reports are prepared and submitted to management.
iv. Forecast the water infrastructure needs for the entire year.
v. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor related to his or her education, experience, and skills.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
i. Employment will be on a one-year contract basis.
ii. Upon expiry of the contract period, an employee who has demonstrated efficiency in performance may have their contract renewed.
CONSIDERATIONS FOR APPLICANTS
i. Must be a lawful owner of academic certificates.
ii. Must have two referees who are Public Servants.
iii. Must have a letter from the Village, Mtaa or Street Executive Officer.
iv. Must be willing to volunteer in the respective area.
v. Must not have been convicted by a Court for criminal or disciplinary offenses.
vi. Must have good conduct and character acceptable to the community.
vii. Must not have been employed in any Public Institution since graduating.
