1: Planning Clerk – 1 Position

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will manage, distribute and close section work orders and ensure that all operations in assigned area are carried out as per the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System at Kilombero Sugar to achieve the quality standards.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures that all operations are carried out as per the ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System at Kilombero Sugar to achieve the quality standards.

Performs all tasks according to Kilombero Sugar’s Quality, Safety, Health and Environment policies and procedures.

Take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and other persons who may be affected by what you do or do not do.

Co-operate with the management team to enable them to perform their duties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Record and capture incoming works order requisitions and opening job cards.

Closes wage returns for all Estate Maintenance junior staff through Cane-pro.

Capture Stores Requisition and submit to manager for approval as assigned.

Prepare Productivity reports through SAP system.

Responsible for all Civil offices cleaning and ensure surroundings are maintained in proper condition.

Keep proper records for incoming and issued Civil materials.

Job Qualification and Experience

Certificate or Diploma of records and archival management.

Computer certificate would be an added advantage.

Minimum 1 year working experience in Maintenance planning and recording (EAM).

Computer literacy, proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to plan and organize work and resources.

Good communication skills.

2: Inventory Operations Controller – 1 Position

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will partner with Inventory Manager to achieve optimal onsite Inventory stock holding from both a financial and operational perspective

Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesDelegate workflow and manage the team’s operational activities. Plan, organize, lead and control activities carried out at stores

Manage the Inventory Operations team to ensure accurate and efficient receiving/receipting and issuing of stock; ensuring strong customer support in terms of timing and product availability Manage and control Inventory levels to ensure unsatisfied stores requisitions and services are kept to a minimum.

Implement and oversee effective and efficient service delivery and resolution of issues affecting delivery or supply constraints

Oversee the planning of receiving loads and required staff, machinery (i.e., forklift, etc.) for offload etc

Ensure related engagement takes place with suppliers for all defective goods and goods over/under received

Support the business to finalize receipting process for payment by creditors – query resolution, GRN, Credit/exchanges, etc

Assess operational teams’ performance using EPM (Engaged Performance Management) tools, against role profiles and established KPIs

Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)

Ensure compliance to the FCFQ is achieved through rigorous engagement with group and internal audit (this includes maintaining relevance to current systems, policies & procedures)

Maintain housekeeping of designated area (5S) in accordance with SHERQ and ISO standards (where applicable)

Establish and maintain clarity of responsibilities within the decision-making process

Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)

Job Qualification and ExperienceBachelors degree in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Minimum 3 years Procurement , Purchasing or Supply Chain management experience

Demonstrated understanding of stores management and Inventory management systems and processes

Demonstrable track record in managing teams

3: Warehouse Supervisor – 1 Position

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will plan, co-coordinate and supervise all dispatch activities to ensure warehouse performance and KPI standards for both internal & external customer service expectations are met.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise warehouse teams, through review of load plan schedules, determination of manpower / resource requirements, work planning and allocation, monitoring of work completed and management or escalation of any issues.

Conduct shift handover meetings, where relevant, to ensure performance continuity.

Conduct relevant cycle, monthly, planned and unplanned stock counts.

Coordinate and supervise the receipt of transporters, the loading of all vehicles, all weigh bridge activities, invoice preparation and dispatch of vehicles to customers or other depots.

Supervise and assist with the speedy and accurate checking and capture of all outgoing inventory, including site specific requirements (e.g. specialty sugar container or molasses).

Approve and audit all dispatch documentation.

Supervise MHE operation and performance to ensure consistent availability, safety and productivity.

Assist in ensuring all MHE is maintained to standard, by reviewing checklists, and planning for routine and ad hoc maintenance.

Compile and submit MHE hours on a monthly basis to the assigned Finance Business Partner.

Consistently track, manage performance to standard and display all relevant KPI’s to build team understanding, commitment and performance.

Coach and conduct on the job training of team members to ensure competence against standards, SOPs, and skills required.

Manage performance of the team, recognizing good performance and constructively handling performance issues.

Authorize Work Permits for any work to be carried out in the warehouse during the shift.

Maintain employee records and track attendance.

Job Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics/Warehousing or equivalent.

2-3 years’ stock/stores/warehouse experience.

Leadership ability to build teams, and influence, empower, guide and develop others.

Ability to plan and organise work and resources.

Good communication skills.

4: Finance Manager (Business Support) – 1 Position

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of Kilombero’s required financial results by producing high quality, accurate, timely and compliant financial information, Partner with and provide financial leadership to Functional Directors and provide strong, integrated analytical insights that enable the delivery of Kilombero’s financial performance. Influence a strong governance and control framework that meets stakeholder expectations.

Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide business support to each Business Partner to align KPI’s to Kilombero Strategy

Meet monthly to discuss progress on KPIs and equip Business Partners with the necessary tools, advice and support to execute Kilombero Strategy

Drive the delivery of Kilombero’s financial results which include Drive plan, budget and forecasting process to ensure delivery of Kilombero objectives.

Preparation of quarterly cost forecasts for marketing and logistics costs for submission and presentation to the marketing sub-committee

Preparation of forecast sucroce price for submission and presentation to Growers on a quarterly basis

Build strong and deep core financial capability within the appropriate functions through

mentoring, coaching training and appropriate recruitment

Responsible for overseeing the instructions and parameters to be issued to all functions

leading to the submission of entity submission

Deliver maximum value to the business through collaboration with senior management and finance managers

Building strong, collaborative and effective working relationships with Kilombero directors and senior leadership to influence the decision-making process and then ensure Implementation to deliver results

Job Qualification and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Equivalent.

CIMA / ACCA / CPA (T)/ Equivalent.

MBA will be an added advantage

Minimum 8 years relevant working experience

Terms of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on a Permanent contract.
