New Vacancies at Akiba Commercial Bank June 2026, Akiba Commercial Bank Plc commenced banking operations in August 1997 as an initiative of over 300 Tanzanian entrepreneurs who were inspired to move into micro-finance, by the moral and economical concern for the plight of millions of Tanzanians.

Position Finance Manager – Management Accounting
Location Dar es Salaam
Key Responsibilities
1. Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process.
Coordinate periodic financial forecasting.
Ensure alignment of budgets with organizational strategy.
2. Management Reporting
Prepare monthly management accounts.
Conduct variance analysis and performance reporting.
Present financial insights to support decision-making.
3. Cost Management
Monitor cost performance across departments.
Identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving measures.
4. Financial Analysis & Strategy Support
Support financial modelling and strategic planning initiatives.
Provide analytical input for business decisions and projects.
5. Data Integrity
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial reports and data.
Maintain strong internal controls over reporting processes.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification is mandatory:
CPA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
Experience
6–8 years of experience in:
Management accounting
Financial analysis
Preferably within a banking environment.
