The Arusha District Council has officially announced 12 temporary job vacancies for the position of Revenue Collector, providing employment opportunities for qualified Tanzanian citizens residing within the district. The recruitment aims to strengthen revenue collection activities during various exhibitions and events organized within Arusha District.
Position: Revenue Collector (Temporary)

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
Collecting revenue at designated tax collection points.
Ensuring all payments are properly received through electronic Point of Sale (POS) machines.
Safeguarding and properly using the revenue collection equipment provided.
Submitting daily revenue collection reports to their supervisors.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
A minimum education level of Secondary School Certificate (Form Four) or higher.
General Requirements
To qualify for the position, applicants must:
Be a Tanzanian citizen.
Be between 18 and 45 years of age.
Be a resident of Arusha District Council.
Possess a National Identification Number (NIDA) or NIDA registration number.
Be physically and mentally fit.
Have no criminal record.
Be willing to work in any location assigned by the Council.
