Job Vacancies at East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) July 2026, The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is a major midstream development spanning Uganda and Tanzania. It includes the construction and operation of a nearshore Marine Tanks and Terminals (MTT) facility in Tanzania.
Once completed, the EACOP Company will operate a 1,443 km electrically heated crude oil export pipeline, transporting crude oil from Kabaale–Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga Port in Tanzania for export to international markets.
1: Business Systems Administrator
Principle ResponsibilitiesÂ
1. Business Support
- Provide Tier 0 and Tier 1 support (Workday and FIS).
- Manage Knowledge Database, User Documentation, FAQs (Workday and FIS).
- Training of internal teams
- Ensures a direct support to EACOP users (providing up to date templates, support, exports, reports etc.).
- Is the main point of contact to liaise with solutions and service providers for all technical aspects of the applications.
- Contributes to the general Knowledge Management and improvement of the system
- Supervise the Ticket intake, the ticket queue assignment (Jira for Workday, SNow for FIS).
- Provide pre-script standard incident resolution (Workday and FIS).
2. Deployment – Upgrade (Workday)
- Assist the future deployment of Workday modules.
- Manage the integration with other business systems (such as Maintenance, Payroll, digital signature, scanning)
- Open Business cases in Workday Community for identified issues.
- Follow all small and large system evolutions requested by users and developed by AMS.
- Follow all SaaS application upgrades and measure their impact for the users.
- Contribute to a more efficient and comprehensive usage of the Business Systems.
3. Systems (Workday and FIS)
- Guarantee and follow systems quality, performance, and availability.
- Follow data integrity.
- Organize and conduct business reviews (needs + functional evolutions, priorities) and carry out complete follow-up of the requests impacting the tools for the activity of the business client.
- Implement KPIs to monitor and improve activity (management of cost, problem rate, productivity, etc.).
4. Others (Workday and FIS)
- Guarantees with the solutions and service providers the maintenance of the overall applications operations’ quality and performance.
- Coordinate the EACOP “Key-users” network with business entities.
- Be the main point of contact for Workday, FIS, and AMS.
- Follow the budget related to Workday, FIS, and AMS.
- Ensures compliancy of every dataset with operations, projects and business processes standards Implement indicators to monitor and improve activity (management of cost, problem rate, productivity, etc.)
Accountability:
The Business Systems Administrator assists the business in defining and modelling their needs, constraints, and requirements. As a functional specialist, analyzes the needs of the business lines, verifies the adequacy of the Information Systems and Technology (IST) supporting the activities of the business, and proposes innovative solutions (process and / or technical) to meet the needs in Workday and FIS.
The Business Systems Administrator has also an operational responsibility in the delivery of the services
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology
8 to 10 years’ experience in technical specialty (Enterprise Resource Planning, Human Capital Management, Contract & Procurement, Treasury Management System, Compliance applications support, security, data management)
Finance background and experience is a plus.
Proficiency in the usage of computers, software and applications, Cloud-based solutions and services.
Proficiency in the usage of business systems
Ability to organize and manage priorities, rigorous.

2: Contract Engineer
Principle ResponsibilitiesÂ
Apply Company C&P procedures consistently across the full contract lifecycle, from tendering to contract close out, under the supervision of the Contracts Lead.
Support the preparation, coordination, and administration of Call for Tenders (CFT), including Expressions of Interest (EOIs), tender documentation, and publication processes,
Liaise with technical duets and specialized entities such as Legal, Insurance, Finance, Tax departments to ensure accurate contractual documents are prepared, request C&P senior personnel if needed.
Ensure proper organization and traceability of tender processes, including bid receipt, opening sessions, and associated documentation.
Contribute to supplier prequalification and due diligence processes, including analysis of submissions and coordination with Compliance and Local Content teams.
Participate in the commercial and contractual evaluation of bids and contribute to the preparation of recommendations to award.
Requirements
Degree qualified in a relevant field, ideally with a post-graduate qualification in another discipline
Min 5 years’ experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry or equivalent complex industry.
Broad Contracts and Procurement experience (both commercial and contractual), working for complex industrial projects or operations, and comprehensive knowledge of C&P processes.
Ability to work on multiple dossiers and to sustain pressure, within a multi-disciplinary & multi-cultural team in a multi-cultural business environment.
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
3: Road Safety Officer- TZ
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
Professional certification in Road Safety, Transport Safety, HSE, or Fleet Management is desirable.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in transport, logistics, road safety, or HSE management.
Minimum 5 years in a road safety or transport safety role within large industrial, oil & gas, infrastructure, mining, or energy projects.
Experience in managing transport contractors and commercial fleet operations.
Experience with journey management systems and vehicle telematics.
Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Experience in oil & gas, infrastructure, or large field operations is an advantage.
4: Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Community Development, Communications, or a related discipline.
Minimum of five years’ experience in social performance, stakeholder engagement, community relations, grievance management, or related field-based roles.
Demonstrated experience working with local communities, diverse cultural groups, vulnerable groups, indigenous people, and local authorities.
Strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement, grievance management, social performance frameworks, and sustainability standards.
Excellent communication, facilitation, mediation, reporting, documentation, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated understanding of the IFC Performance Standards, particularly those related to environmental and social risk management, labour and working conditions, resource efficiency, community health, safety and security, biodiversity conservation, land acquisition and resettlement, Indigenous Peoples, and cultural heritage.
Ability to work effectively in field environments, manage competing priorities, and engage respectfully with stakeholders at all levels.
Training in conflict resolution, participatory approaches, social safeguards, or community development is an added advantage.
Proficiency in English and Kiswahili; understanding of local languages spoken by project-affected communities is an added advantage
5: Social and Grievance Coordinator
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Community Development, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Sociology, or a related discipline.
Minimum of seven years’ experience in social performance, stakeholder engagement, community relations, grievance management, or related field-based roles.
Demonstrated experience working with local communities, diverse cultural groups, vulnerable groups, indigenous people, and local authorities.
Good understanding of community development, social welfare, vulnerability support, and social risk management.
Demonstrated experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, social services, grievance administration, or social performance.
Experience using social management databases and tools, including Borealis.
Training or certification in mediation, conflict resolution, community leadership, or social performance management is desirable
Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

6: Senior Legal Advisor
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (minimum Upper Second) in Law, qualified to practice in Tanzania.
5 years post qualification legal experience in a commercial law firm in Tanzania, with experience working on international projects and with international clients. Experience in dealing with land, commercial, employment, litigation matters and government-facing activities, with an ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
Experience or qualification in Oil & gas, construction or infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
