1. JOB TITLE: FLEET OFFICER

Job Summary
Provide support for the implementation of DIL’s Transport policies and processes by participating in planning/ coordinating movement of cement products and/ or materials between the Plant and approved areas.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Manage vehicular traffic, including loading activities (off-loading and on-loading) at the Plant to ensure overall orderliness and efficiency of depot operations.
Ensure appropriate storage of incoming materials at the designated facilities in the Plant.
Coordinate loading of products onto allocated trucks for dispatch to approved locations outside the Plant.
Ensure that all plant logistics activities comply with DIL’s Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
Coordinate efficient and timely loading of customers’ trucks with purchased products on a FIFO basis.
Develop and submit reports of logistics activities at the Plant and provide recommendations where necessary.
To ensure recovery of AGO for short kilometres.
To ensure all accident and related documents are collected on time.
To ensure all vehicles are coming with raw materials from designated location whenever there’s feasibility of collecting raw materials.
To ensure timely allocation of vehicles for collecting spares and other required by plant or other used department. Liaising with Transporters acquiring information on: Arrival of Trucks, Truck Breakdowns, and any other Emergency Occurrences
Perform any other duties assigned by your HOD & senior.
Key Requirements
Education & Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in business, Transport & logistics, or any other related field
Minimum of two (3) years’ experience in Transport management
Skills & Behaviour
Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
Sound knowledge of DIL’s product and service offerings.
Working knowledge of inventory management terminologies, methodologies and approach
Basic knowledge of system-based inventory management systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail and quality
Willingness to learn, improve and adapt to changing requirements

2. JOB TITLE: PROCESS ENGINEER
Location: Mtwara Plant Tanzania, Mtwara Plant Tanzania

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor various sections of the production line from the Central Control Room (CCR).
To ensure precision and adherence to standards in the cement production process.
Provide relevant information and direction to patrollers and operators in the production line based on monitored operations in liaison with the shift coordination
Monitor and control all sections of the plant process lines to ensure stable equipment operation, employee safety and compliance with prescribe standards and environmental regulations.
Log in process data at specified intervals, documents and report operational activities accordingly.
Ensure smooth operation of the crusher, raw mills, kiln, and cement mills by providing constant feedback and relevant guidance to shift coordinators, Engineers, Patrollers and Operators in the execution of the field work.
Inform patrollers, Attendants and operators of failures, potential failure or trouble spots and provide direction for problem solving.
Diagnose and troubleshoot potential operating problems, either in consultation with shift coordinators, Engineers and the section Head or independently when immediate action is necessary to ensure production resumes
Continuously review the plant automation system and make recommendations for improvement based on leading practises
Prepare detailed reports on the work undertaken in clear and concise manner
Supervise casual staff to ensure all conveyors belts in the unit are clean and free from jamming.
Ensure cement and clinker production targets are achieved during respective shift.
Perform any other duties assigned by the section Head /HOD
Key Requirements
Holder of BSc in Chemical and Processing Engineering or any related discipline.
At least 2 years of working experience in relevant position.

3. JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Job Summary
Installation, Testing, Operation & Maintenance, Trouble shooting of Electrical equipments with optimum quality & safety.
Responsible for trouble free operation of assigned area to achieve optimum availability of equipments.
Spare management of assigned area for smooth plant operation.
Provides adequate maintenance support to reduce downtime
Implements  preventive maintenance schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities
Daily job allocation & technical guidance to subordinates.
Responsible for compliance of safety measures within work area.
Responsible for housekeeping of his/her work area.
Executes the maintenance and servicing of Circuit Breakers, Transformers, MCC, PCC, MV & LV switch boards, Battery charger, Plant lighting/earthing system, HT/LT motors, VFD, HT/LT Cables and terminations etc. as per preventive maintenance schedule.
Executes Work orders well in time with quality and safety.
Prepares various reports & maintains documentation such as Power report, Maintenance check list, daily job report, maintenance history of equipments etc.
Imparts training to subordinates.
Updates maintenance data into SAP
Issuing of material from Store and giving advance information to seniors about the requirement of spare.
Prepares PR, notifications, work order etc in SAP.
Perform any other related duties as may assigned by Senior Engineer/Head of Section or Head of Department
Professional Qualification, Experience and Competence
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of four (4) years of work environment
Knowledge and work experience of Low, Medium and High Voltage system (i.e. MCC/PCC/MV & LV switch boards etc.), HT/LT Motors, Transformer, Substation’s Indoor/outdoor equipments, Generator, cables & cable termination, Plant lighting/earthing system, Electrical measuring & testing equipments, Electrical and electronic Diagram and its interpretation, Basics of Computer, Battery charger etc.
Understanding of engineering drawing and principles.
Good incident analysis skill
