Vacancies at Tanzania Logistics and Transport Association (TALTA) April 2026, The Tanzania Logistics and Transport Association (TALTA) is a leading regional association that unites professionals to promote sustainable, high-standard logistics and transport practices, foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, networking, and provide expert guidance to support socio-economic development and environmental protection.

Position Title: Secretary General

Organization: Tanzania Logistics and Transport Association (TALTA)

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibility

The Secretary General shall:

Be the secretary to the Executive Committee.

Record and keep proceedings of the said committee meetings.

In consultation with the TALTA President draw up and publish agenda for the meetings of the Executive Committee, AGM, SGM and the Board of Trustees.

Be signatory to all financial transactions of the Association.

Receive all correspondences of the Association and reply as appropriate.

Keep an up-to-date register of all members and documentation of all activities of the Association.

Be an ex-official member of all the committees of the Association.

Compile annual reports and provide information on the state of the Association from time to time and whenever required to do so.

Collect and dissemination information for the publication of the aims and objectives of the Association.

Shall be a full-time employee of the Association.

Qualifications and Experience

The applicant must be an active member of TALTA.

Must possess managerial/administrative experience of not less than five years in any Transport and Logistics institution.

The applicant must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and/or Transport-related fields. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

The applicant must possess at least three short courses in any field related to Logistics and Transport.

Must be a dedicated, committed and trust worthy in serving the Association and live by them.

Age limit is 50 years.

To avoid conflict of interest, the applicant and/or leader must not hold any leadership position in any other Logistics or Transport related association or Institutions having similar objectives with this association.
