1: Job Openings: Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Plan and supervise daily production activities based on demand and stock levels.

Work closely with Quality Assurance & Control teams to maintain product quality standards.

Coordinate raw material collection and usage with the Stores department.

Monitor production efficiency, yields, and waste to ensure cost-effective operations.

Prepare and submit daily production reports on time.

Ensure strict adherence to GMPs, safety standards, and company policies.

Coordinate preventive machine maintenance with the maintenance team.

Supervise, motivate, and manage the production team to achieve performance targets.

Identify training needs and support continuous skill development of staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Production Management, Quality Management, or related technical field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (experience in preform manufacturing is an added advantage).

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in computer applications and production reporting systems.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

2: Job Openings: Structural Engineer

Purpose of Role:

To produce accurate structural drawings and calculations, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and coordinating with architects and engineers to deliver integrated designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural drawings and calculations for projects.

• Ensure compliance with safety codes and engineering standards.

• Coordinate with architects to align structural design with architectural intent.

• Identify and resolve structural conflicts during design stage.

• Provide technical input during site inspections when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.

• Strong knowledge of structural codes and standards.

• Proficiency in structural design software.

• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

3: Job Openings: Syrup Maker

To ensure efficient running of the syrup room machines, giving maximum output, optimum materials (syrup) yields and of acceptable quality as per the agreed set targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare simple syrup and final syrup according to the company’s MMIs.

Perform CIP and ensure that it is done well and at stipulated time.

Coordinate well with line supervisors and quality personnel for final syrup batches preparation

Operate machine always observing safety and hygiene.

Ensure that all raw materials for syrup making are available

Manage wastage generated from syrup making and CIP processes

Cleanliness of the machine and its environment must be maintained at all times.

All operation records are filled during production ensuring that performance of the equipment and quality of syrup is monitored strictly.

Ensure reconciliation of material usage and production output are done after every shift.

Troubleshoot on any faults and report all breakdowns and abnormal machine behaviours to immediate supervisor.

All machines must be switched off when not in use.

Write SOPs for the machine and processes.

Should be able to train and develop other Syrup Makers.

Ensure other responsibilities allocated from time to time are accomplished well and on time.

Follow GSM Beverages GMP and code of ethics.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

VETA certification (Level 3 or above) in a relevant technical field is an added advantage.

Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in beverage or food processing industry.

Experience working with syrup preparation and CIP systems is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.

Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.

Basic technical and troubleshooting skills for machinery.

Good record-keeping and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.
