EM Hospital is looking for qualified and experienced personnel for the following full-time positions:

1. MEDICAL DOCTOR (5 POSTS)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and treat illnesses, develop and manage treatment plans, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, and prescribing medications.

• Provide preventive care such as health screening, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling.

• Perform medical procedures within the scope of practice (e.g., suturing, minor/major surgery, or specialized interventions).

Maintain accurate medical records and comply with legal, ethical, and professional standards.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Medical Doctor degree (MD/MBBS/MBChB) from a recognized university.

• Minimum of two (2) years working experience.

• Valid practicing license from the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT).

2. ASSISTANT NURSE OFFICER (10 POSTS)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in providing patient care under the supervision of a Nurse Officer or Doctor.

• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration) and report abnormalities.

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in wards and clinical areas.

• Prepare patients and equipment for medical procedures and examinations.

• Assist in emergencies and provide basic life support when required.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma in Nursing/Midwifery from a recognized institution.

• Minimum of two (2) years working experience.

• Valid practicing license from the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC).

3. PHARMACIST (2 POSTS)
