Position: HBB – Brand & Communications Manager
Responsibilities
Creative development in lesion with Creative agencies / partners (Deliver high impact creative for HBB growth)
Lead the creative development process from briefing to execution for all HBB campaigns
Work closely with creative agencies to deliver compelling ATL, BTL, and digital assets
Ensure all creative meets brand guidelines, target audience insights, and performance standards
Manage creative timelines, quality, and cost effectiveness
Liaise with the advertising and creative agency/partners
Monitors directly and reviews the vendors and agencies performance constantly seeking better value addition – through quality and cost
Prepares weekly reports on advertising agency buying status: payments done, pending invoices and LPO status
Documents and monitors payment status for agencies, print, electronic and outdoor media suppliers
Develop and maintain a library with all creative and communication materials developed by the Agency/ competitor ads
Tracks the execution of advertising creative produced to ensure efficient workflow of the marketing work plan to execute campaigns in a timely manner as required
Digital Strategy Development (Drive digital first demand generation for HBB)
Develop and execute HBB specific digital marketing strategies
Own paid digital media performance (search, social, display, video)
Collaborate with product and CX teams to optimize digital journeys and conversion funnels
Monitor digital KPIs including leads, cost per acquisition (CPA), conversions, and ROI
Stay ahead of digital trends, platforms, and broadband relevant consumer behaviour
Content Creation and Management
Working with Creative Agency and cross functional teams to create engaging and relevant content is a key part of digital marketing
This includes digital posts, creating videos, designing graphics, and managing social media content
Content should resonate with the target audience and convey the brand’s message.
Social Media Marketing, Management of Website & Linked-in
Develop social media strategies, create content calendars, develop paid advertising strategy to reach specific demographics
Grow followers, likes, engagement scores across all social media channels – FB, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc
Develop processes for lead generation and lead management through all social channels, including websites
Update website with new product launched
Identify areas for improvement in user experience, landing pages, and conversion funnels to increase the likelihood of conversions
Update LinkedIn with communication on strategic launches and projects.
Data Analysis & Monitoring Digital Media Spends
Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies
Manage budgets, monitor ad performance to ensure a positive return on investment and growth in Brand Scores – TOMA, Power, social listening
Analyze data from various sources, such as website analytics, social media insights, social listening, and email campaign metrics to ensure positive return on investment and competitiveness of results
Monitor online mentions and engages with customers to manage HBB perception
Conduct on-line market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities and improve campaign performance for HBB
Media Strategy & Traditional Media Execution (Maximize reach, frequency, and effectiveness of HBB media investments)
Develop HBB ATL media strategies across TV, Radio, Outdoor and print
Work with media agencies to optimize media mix and placement
Monitor media performance, share of voice, and competitor activity
Identify innovative and non traditional media opportunities relevant to home broadband users
Ensure timely execution, monitoring, and reconciliation of media placements
Conduct regular trade visits and ad hoc research to establish impact of TV, Radio and print mediums deployed
Media Monitoring
Daily/weekly/monthly media monitoring of media placements across all TV, radio, and print media and per media
Weekly and monthly reporting of industry share of voice and share of expenditure by media and value per spot/placement compared to competition
Weekly/Monthly competitor review reports across different media platforms.
Cross Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management (Act as the single brand custodian for HBB)
Partner with Product, Sales, and CX to align communication with on ground realities
Support GTM plans for new HBB products, bundles, and offers
Provide clear brand and communication direction to internal teams and agencies
Manage agency relationships to drive excellence, accountability, and value
Managing Customer Interaction on SM
Collaborate with Customer Experience team to manage customer interaction on social media
Develop social listening trackers based on customer conversations on social media for Airtel and Competition
Work with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience
Develop strategy to grow positive feedback and manage negative reactions on social media.
Performance Tracking, Insights & Optimization (Ensure measurable marketing impact)
Define and track HBB brand and performance KPIs (awareness, consideration, demand, conversion)
Analyze campaign results and recommend optimization actions
Track competitor activity and evolving home broadband market trends
Use insights to continuously refine messaging, channels, and investment decisions
Budget & Governance (Ensure efficient and compliant use of marketing budgets)
Plan and manage approved HBB marketing budgets
Monitors spend against plans and ROI benchmarks
Recommend cost efficient and innovative approaches to maximize impact
Ensure adherence to internal processes, approvals, and governance
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field
Master’s degree is an added advantage
Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in brand marketing, integrated communications, or growth marketing
Proven experience leading largescale ATL and digital campaigns
Prior experience in telecom, FMCG, tech, or high growth consumer categories preferred
Strong understanding of media planning, digital performance marketing, and creative execution
Experience managing agencies and multiple stakeholders at senior level
Other requirements (Behavioral etc.)
