8 Job Vacancies at Tanzania Forest Services Agency (TFSA) May 2026, The Tanzania Forest Services Agency is a semi-autonomous Government Agency established through Government Notice No. 269 of 30th July 2010 under the Executive Agency Act (Cap. 245), as amended from time to time.
The Agency implements the National Forest and Beekeeping Policy of 1998, the Forest Act (Cap 323 R.E. 2002), and the Beekeeping Act (Cap 224 R.E. 2002), which provide the legal framework for the management of forest and bee resources in Tanzania.
TFS is among the four units forming the Wildlife and Forest Conservation Service established under the Written Laws (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No. 2) Act, 2020.
Headquarters and Operational Zones
The TFS Headquarters is located at Misitu House, Itega Area, along Singida Road in Dodoma.
The Agency operates through seven zones:
Eastern Zone – Kibaha, Pwani Region
Southern Zone – Masasi District, Mtwara Region
Southern Highlands Zone – Mbeya City, Mbeya Region
Northern Zone – Same District, Kilimanjaro Region
Western Zone – Tabora Municipal, Tabora Region
Lake Zone – Mwanza City, Mwanza Region
Central Zone – Dodoma City, Dodoma Region
Operational matters are handled at zonal level, while the Headquarters manages strategic issues.

Required Qualifications

Class “C1” or “E” Driving License
Basic Driving Course Certificate from VETA or any recognized institution
At least one (1) year of driving experience without causing accidents
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be required to:
Drive the Agency’s vehicles
Maintain vehicle logbooks and movement records
Ensure smooth running of vehicles
Assist in making simple vehicle repairs
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and service schedules
