1: TUTORS – Food and Beverage Sales and Services -2
1. Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver competency-based training (CBT) in accordance with VETA standards
Ensure safety standards are maintained in workshops and classrooms
Conduct continuous assessment and maintain students’ records
To conduct Research, Seminars and case studies;
Provide mentorship and guidance to students
To supervise students’ projects
To prepare teaching manual
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of a Diploma in Food and Beverage Sales and Services or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution.
Possession of Technical Teacher Training Certificate (TTTC) or VETA Instructor Training is an added advantage.
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge in the respective discipline.
Minimum of 1–2 years teaching or industry experience.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
2: TUTORS – Travel and Tourism Management – 02
1. Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver competency-based training (CBT) in accordance with VETA standards

To carry out Consultancy and community services under supervision; and

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from recognized Institutions and any
other equivalent qualifications. A person with at least 2 years of working experience in industrial
field, Teaching Methodology or with a postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
5: FOOD TECHNOLOGY AND HUMAN NUTRITION TUTORS – 02
1. Duties and Responsibilities
To prepare teaching manual
To supervise students’ projects
To teach up to NTA level 6 (Diploma)
To conduct Research, Seminars and case studies;
To prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises
To carry out Consultancy and community services under supervision; and

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology, Bachelor of Science in Human
Nutrition from a recognized Institution or any other equivalent qualifications. A person with at
least 2 years of working experience in the industrial field, Teaching Methodology, or with a
postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
6: LAND SURVEY AND MAPPING TUTORS – 02
1. Duties and Responsibilities
To prepare teaching manual
To supervise students’ projects
To teach up to NTA level 6 (Diploma)
To conduct Research, Seminars and case studies;
To prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises
To carry out Consultancy and community services under supervision; and
To perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Land Management and Valuation, Cartography, Geomatics,
Geoinformatics or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution. A person with at least
2 years of working experience in the field, Teaching Methodology or with a postgraduate
qualification will be an added advantage.
