95 New Vacancies at MDAs & LGAs June 2026, Secretary of the Public Service Employment Secretariat on behalf of MDAs & LGAs welcomes job applications from Tanzanians with qualifications and ability to fill 95 positions as specified in this announcement;
1.0 ASSISTANT TECHNOLOGIST GRADE II – LABORATORY (ASSISTANT HEALTH LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST II) – 10 Positions
1.1 JOB DUTIES
i. Preparing reagents for laboratory tests;
ii. To do preliminary work on the samples that are brought to the laboratory;
iii. Collecting blood from patients and volunteers;
iv. Recording the results of the tests in the register;
v. Preparing work equipment;
v. Storing according to procedures all samples that need to be stored after investigation;
vii. . To do other tasks assigned to him by his head of tasks related to his education, experience and skills related to his education, experience and skills.
1.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Employed with a Diploma in Health Laboratory Science from the College recognized by the Government and must be registered with the Council of Laboratory Experts.
1.3 SALARY LEVEL TGHS A
2.0 ASSISTANT TECHNOLOGIST – PHARMACY II – 10 positions
2.1 JOB DUTIES
i. Prepare the needs and use of drugs and medical equipment;
ii. Ordering, storing and distributing medicines and medical equipment in his work area;
iii. Preparing information on the use of drugs and medical devices;
iv. Keeping records of medicines and medical devices;
v. To do other work assigned by his head of work related to his education, experience and skills related to his education, experience and skills.
2.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Employed graduates with a degree certificate in the fields of Medicine from the College recognized by the Government and registered with the Pharmacy Council.
2.3 SALARY LEVEL TGHS A.
3.0 ASSISTANT TECHNOLOGIST – RADIOLOGY (ASSISTANT TECHNOLOGIST – RADIOLOGY II) – 10 Positions
3.1 JOB DUTIES
i. To perform tasks of receiving and testing patients in the areas of drug tests bones and chest (chests and Skeletal Radiography);
ii. Preparing photo cleaning drugs;
iii. Clean up photos;
iv. Maintaining X-Ray and photo cleaning equipment;
v. To do other work assigned by his head of work related to his education, experience and skills related to his education, experience and skills.
3.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Hiring applicants with a Diploma in Radiology from the College which is recognized by the Government and who are registered with the Council of Radiation Specialists Tanzania.
3.3 SALARY LEVEL TGHS – A
4.0 RADIOGRAPHIC TECHNOLOGIST GRADE II – RADIOLOGY (RADIOGRAPHYTECHNOLOGIST II – RADIOLOGY) – 10 positions
4.1 JOB DUTIES
i. Examining patients referred to his workplace.
ii. To take care of the equipment and Radiology equipment in his work area.
iii. Reviewing X-Ray images measured for quality and adequacy (diagnostic quality).
iv. Keeping the patient’s pictures until the answers reach the doctors who sent them patients.
v. Supervising the employees under him.
v. Providing advice on Radiology and Radiation issues in the area his job.
vii. Prepare medical/diagnostic equipment and supervise the cleaning of equipment in its area of work (sterilization).
viii. Provide initial training to employees who are assigned to work in their area work.
ix. To do other work assigned by his head of work related to his education, experience and knowledge.
4.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Recruitment of Diploma in Radiology Technology from College that is recognized by the Government, who are registered with the Council of Radiation Experts Tanzania.

5.0 INTERNAL AUDITOR GRADE II (INTERNAL AUDITOR GRADE II) – 15 positions
5.1 JOB DUTIES
i. prepare an internal audit program
ii. to conduct analysis in the initial stages of the audit
iii. perform internal system control evaluations in the initial stages (internal controls), risk management and system management corporate governance
iv. preparing a regular or special internal audit plan
v. to carry out regular, special, technical and investigative inspections (Normal, Special Audit, Technical audit and Investigations)
v. to review the audit points received
vii. vii. To monitor the implementation of internal audit recommendations
viii. Giving advice to strengthen the institution’s performance
ix. To do other tasks in his field that he will be assigned by his superior.
5.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Employed graduates with a degree in business or Arts with a focus on Accounting/Higher Diploma in Accounting/Audit with professional certificate of accounting CPA(T) or other qualifications recognized by the NBAA.
5.3 LEVEL OF SALARY TGS.E
6.0 ACCOUNTANT GRADE II (ACCOUNTANT GRADE II) – 10 positions
6.1 JOB DUTIES
i. Write a statement of income and expenditure;
ii. Writing information about entities;
iii. Receiving government services and sending them to the Bank on time;
iv. Reconciling Bank accounts and other financial matters;
v. Checking payment documents; and
vi. Performing other duties assigned by his/her supervisor.
6.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
Form Six graduates with a degree in Accounting or Commerce who have established themselves in the field of Accounting or a Higher Diploma in Accounting from an Institution recognized by the Government along with a CPA(T) Certificate in Accounting or an equivalent qualification recognized by the NBAA will be employed.
6.3 SALARY LEVEL TGS E
7.0 DENTAL THERAPIST GRADE II – 10 Positions
7.1 JOB DUTIES
i. All duties performed by a Medical Assistant.
ii. Diagnosing and treating common diseases.
iii. Supervising the performance of subordinate staff and performing minor surgeries.
iv. Participate in planning and implementing Primary Health Services.
v. Advise and encourage citizens to contribute to the Health Services of the Community Health Fund.
vi. Maintain records of equipment and tools for providing services.
vii. Maintain records, prepare and provide implementation reports.
viii. Perform other duties assigned by his/her superior
7.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
To be employed with a Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from a College recognized by the Government, and must also be registered with the Medical Council.
7.3 SALARY LEVEL TGHS B
8.0 DENTAL SURGEON GRADE II – Position 10
8.1 JOB DUTIES
i. Perform all medical work in the hospital related to oral and dental diseases.
ii. Provide and supervise oral and dental health education.
iii. To improve oral and dental health in his/her area of work and the community.
iv. Dental filling/restoration, surgery, dental fabrication, jaw correction (orthodontics).
v. Supervise subordinate staff.
vi. Investigate, monitor and prevent disease outbreaks.
vii. Teach students in health colleges located in his/her area of work.
viii. Design and conduct research and disseminate results.
ix. Design and prepare strategies to improve the quality of services in his/her field.
x. Prepare plans and budget estimates for oral and dental health services.
xi. Participate, review and improve health services.
xii. Provide outreach services in his/her district/region.
xiii. Maintain statistics and use them as directed in the principles of MTUHA.
xiv. Plan and evaluate oral and dental health services in the area of work.
xv. Conduct research in various areas of oral and dental health.
xvi. To perform other duties assigned by his/her superior related to his/her education, experience and skills.
8.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
To be employed with a degree in oral and dental surgery from a recognized university who has completed an “Internship” and is registered with the Tanganyika Medical Council.

9.0 NURSE II (NURSE II) – Position 10
9.1 JOB DUTIES
i. To perform nursing duties to serve clients in the community, hospitals and all other places where health services are provided;
ii. To supervise and coordinate all the work of health workers in his/her area of work;
iii. To collect statistics and prepare reports on his/her work performance;
iv. To provide care to patients at home;
v. To provide counseling;
vi. To provide preventive and family planning services;
vii. To provide reproductive and child health services;
viii. Educating patients and the community about their health problems;
ix. Monitoring the maintenance of equipment in their work areas; and
x. Performing other tasks assigned by their supervisor based on their education, experience and skills.
9.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
A two-year nursing certificate from a recognized College and registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council
9.3 SALARY LEVEL TGHS A
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and not exceed 45 years of age. However, for positions within the Military Institutions:
Applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years of age.
Applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years of age.
